Excellent work! Your gun work has the three most important components: 1) consistent speed each coat; 2) consistent distance each pass; 3) consistent atomization at the tip. I promise you folks, it’s not as easy as he makes it look! Great job, Bro!

It looks fantastic, no doubt about it. The quick dry tool is quite amazing too. One thing that would've been nice to see is the final stage where you light sand the clear coat then buff it to give it that factory finish look. Other than that, a great video.

I would have hit that with some two pack primer and blocked it out but still you did a nice job and the pay isn’t always justified to do all that. I can tell you have professional level skill but are slightly limited by your air. It’s testament to your skill level that you have adapted your spray style for lower air power but higher overspray/lower material transfer because it’s a garage and not a dedicated downdraft booth. You’d probably do incredible work with out having to worry about clouds of clear etc. Most guys spraying diy aren’t doing waterborne color or spraying clear at 30 psi, it’s a single stage at lower pressure, easier to manage in a tight space.

Primer is an adhesive, for metal so paint can stick. There was old paint and primer and it was smooth no need to primer it. If he did. That could of caused a problem, the paint on the car could’ve been thicker than 12 mil and it can start peeling or cracking offf.

Amazing. Why did you go slower on the 3rd coat of clear? Putting more on it at the end or just coincidence? All the other coats seemed to be at a different cadence to me.
