Excellent video i replaced the water pump on my XT5 it's about the same as Acadia but i did this in 2022 and everything was on back-order OMG i did find a gm pump but i paid for it $$$$

NOT on this year model. You can replace the water pump with out having to worry about timing.

Sounds like blow by. Your oil piston rings might be bad already if it’s excessive.
