I bought a replacement fuel line for my 028 from lil red barn. When it arrived I noticed the top portion , from tank to carb was longer than o.e.m. stihl part. It seems to be so long that it needs to bend too sharp and kink which appears as if it will cut off the fuel supply. Did I receive the wrong part ? The item # on your invoice is 380617236228 . I haven't been able to try it yet because the recoil spring broke attempting to start it . Waiting on new part to arrive.

Right. There is more video of the back of his hand than the hardware. And he confuses us with broken edits on the part of how many wind arounds the pulley. Best bet...if your old cord is just frayed and not broken....cut it once just above the handle to remove it. Then measure the length of the old cord, cut the new cord to same.
