Sorry I’m not sure if I’m understanding you correctly but if you’re asking if it’s easier to replace a starter on a two wheel drive is easier, the answer is yes it is easier. A 4x4 would have more stuff in the way (i.e. axel, etc) to work around, making it more difficult. I hope that answered your question and thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

I ran into this problem too, on my 4x4 I had to remove the transmission dipstick in order to pull it out, FYI for anyone doing this.
