My wife rides a LX. One leg of the stator died. The stator was ok but one of the little screws that attaches the stator output wires to the stator was loose under the goo. I tightened the screw and replaced the goo and all is well.

Hi, I have a 99 et8 (4 stroke) , the choke is not getting any power to it, I've just replaced the coil, and I've replaced the relays...could the stator be the problem? Thanks

Dude, if it just clicks, and doesn't turn over, most likely culprit is a dead battery. Get a multimeter, and when it does that, check the voltage. if it starts doing that in warm temperatures as well, check the voltage.

@@adamhann7584 No big deal, i dealt with a similar issue on an Yamaha Xmax 125, the battery was at least 5 years old, and the bike was pretty late on maintenance. Glad you got your bike in shape, safe riding.

When you are directed to fix yourself then think about burn. For combustion cars dont think that the best time to fix is when temperatures are 90f. We have to have a rule wait till it cools when heat not needed. Without no technology iam directed fix it yourself. Experiences taking to mechanic it is not now . I wasnt telling him now but should got it leave it overnight until the next day. What he did open the coolant tap and all the coolant squirted out landed in our eyes. We were not the only ones that expect the car to fix the same day or now. When youre are being thought you must help to fix then the mind changes. When told wrong when we view or hear someone say fix the heater instead buy a new one. Who want to fix a heater especially of many years why steal dehydrates and rust. After you view the explosion of a furnace when being fix some of ous are enrolled in electrician classes. Bought a electric bike the battery drains fast but was a lighter weight pedal and some electric movement. Dont see many charges areas . It is not solar powered either.
