How to replace a trim motor in an outboard engine..

Hi I have a 2015 Suzuki DF60a outboard on my Carolina skiff. The PTT goes out everyonce in a while while we are running it and will sometimes miraculously come back on after driving around. Most of the time it doesn’t. But we watched a video that said press the PTT button and tap the motor with a hammer and it starts to work again. But after a while it will stop trimming and we will then have to manually lift the engine and tap the motor again with a hammer. Any suggestions on how to fix?

Need a new ptt motor. Having the same issue with my 2018 Suzuki 175. You can get a cheaper aftermarket but i don't trust them as well.
