When you disconnected the compressor did you have to open the lines? I don't want to have to vacuum and charging of AC. I just replaced the system. And then alternator goes out smh

Any advice on getting the tensioner pully off? I’m staring down from up above with little room and knowledge of how to do that and deal with the strut thing… just have that and the idler pully left to finally get the alt out.. hoping for some help

The tensioner shock pulley and bracket is all removed as one piece it's 3 13mm bolts by the shock up top not at the bottom were the pulley is

I don’t understand why so many people panic about removing the bumper and fenders in one piece . Takes me about 1hr or less now after done it about four times . Makes working on it much easier .

I have also taken the bumper off my beetle but the way I did it took me 20mins start to finish and it wasn't hard at all.
