How To Replace C6 Corvette Console Lid With Custom Leather Upholstery - LeatherSeats.com Tech Tips

This LS Tech Tips video shows the process of upgrading and installing custom leather upholstery for the 2005-2013 C6 Corvette console lid. The tools used include basic hand tools for removing the lid from the vehicle and the plastic shroud and hinge from the lid itself, upholstery spray adhesive for holding the leather cover in place and aligning the seams to the edge of the lid, and a pneumatic upholstery stapler for attaching the new upholstery to the lid in a similar way to the factory cover.
