Thanks for the great info. I am in the process of refurbishing an 021. I thought that the camera operator was a hoot!

My 025 didn`t have that big washer behind the clutch from day one brand new, and nobody has ever touched my saw, so, i do know that it came this way from Stihl, with no washer. Mine is starting to piss oil all over the place when its sitting for awhile. If i don`t drain the oil tank when i`m done using the saw, it will all leak out into the storage case. I suspect the hose coming from the oil tank needs replacing. This is by far the BEST how-to video i have ever seen for the oil pump in the Stihl 025. Thank you so much for posting this video, it was a tremendous help! Also, the vent tube for the fuel tank is a weak design too. Watch for the fuel tank vent hose to be cracked if you start smelling gas if to tip the saw on its side.

I use a pair of kitchen pliers to put the clip back on with. It keeps it from flying off better than anything else I have tried.

Hi Tom Awesome vid buddy 👍 you have a terrific mentor to help navigate your path on youtube . I hope you enjoy doing this as much as we all do for fun and friendship. Watching a channel grow is very cool and I'm sure you will do very well as long as you upload more than once every four years :) If you ever need any help just ask your wife 😅 na you can ask me anytime too. Cheers

In this video, you said the clutch doesn't need to be tightened too much cuz the spin will tighten it more. But in another video channel by a small engine repair shop "Chicanix", she really torqued down on that clutch nut to get it really tight. So I'm wondering what are the correct torque specs.

I use a pair of needle nose pliers to "squeeze" the c-clip back on, with the other hand to hold it down so it doesn't fly away. By the way my 025 doesn't have the big black washer under the clutch but never has been a problem. Is it stock and is it really necessary (anyone)?

Awesome Tom but I do have one critique. Your camera operator needs some more practice....lol. Nicely done Tom !
