How to Replace Front Wheel Bearings on a 2008 Honda Civic

Torque Specs:
axle nut - 134 ft-lbs (Si model is 180 ft-lbs)
lug nuts - 80 ft-lbs
lower ball joint castle nut - 58 ft-lbs
strut to steering knuckle bolts - 67 ft-lbs
outer tie rod nut - 40 ft-lbs
front brake caliper bracket bolts - 79.6 ft-lbs
front brake caliper bolts - 25 ft-lbs

Nice video, doing mine right now. Using a grinder on the bearing race and a chisel to get it off wasn't too bad at all. I wanted to replace them with OEM honda bearings without buying new hubs.

Interesting, I have a 2008 TSX, which I thought was a dressed up civic. But my front end doesn’t look anything like that.

I think the TSX is closer to an Accord than a Civic.

About to do mine and yep! Buying the whole assembly is a ton easier, and it's practically a plug and play compared to disassembly all that. Definitely worth the extra money. Not much more really. "Time is money"
