Is there a fuel regulating valve or a check valve of some sort and the fuel pump assembly

I was just wondering why you would reassemble the seats before trying to start the vehicle? if something is not right, like vehicle doesn`t star, you will have to dis assemble all of it again.

When your car doesn’t start due to the fuel pump- do you change only the gasket? Or do you change the whole pump and gasket?

Any reason why you don't run the car first and then remove the fuel pump fuse to relieve the pressure from the fuel lines?
