Thank you for the steps, saved me about $250 in labor. Just wanted to add 2 things, the new motor from Ford is not threaded for the mounting bolts, but it will self thread using the old bolts, second I did not use rivets instead I used 1/4-inch x 1/2-inch long bolts with one washer and nylon nuts. Worked out great, thank you again.

it is not necessary to remove the window regulator to replace the motor

That motor replacement is possible in 1/3 the steps. Correctly. Scratch that. 1/4

Why did you replace the two rivets that hold the glass with bilts and washers rather than rivets? What size bolts/nuts did you use? I just received my parts and am about to do this to both front windows.

What is wrong with this video? "So, your power window doesn't operate, because the motor doesn't work. Well, to swap motors, remove the regulator. To remove the regulator, turn on the key, and run the power-window till you can access the big rivet behind this hole......." Let's see if you can figure out the problem. I'm waiting.......
