Why disassemble the whole caliper? Only need to remove two bolts…

I just remove the bolts that hold the caliber bracket, and remove the whole unit as one, no need to disconnect the caliber, and pull out the pads,etc.

I believe this video and part numbers apply to 2004-2007 Highlander’s. The 2001-2003 models are different and require different parts.

Was there no brake lining on the parking brake shoes? I mean no lining at all! I've never seen that before.

Ours didn't have any either. They'd completely siezed up so we just ripped them out.

G'Day, i would love to repl the entire hub assy, however this doesn't seem too be the case for the 01'-03' AWD??? Does ANYBODY sell a complete bolt in hub assy without having to pull the seals, spring clip, press in & out the bearing & press in the hub??? Seems lika awful lotta work when it could just be R & R'd??? Please LMK as I almost wanna purchase the 04' assy anyway to see if it will work?
