Unfortunately this guide omits an important step and that's the thermostat o-ring must be secured and sealed in place on the engine with appropriate sealant. This is how the engine is from the factory. Fail to do this and it will look like its fixed but it will leak and the new o-ring will be damaged and in need of replacement at further hassle and expense.

Get a set of line clamps, so you don't always have to lose, all your coolant

An easier and better way is to drain the coolant from the radiator via the drain plug. This has the added benefit of lowering the level in the engine block so the coolant there doesn't piss out when you remove the thermostat.

Thanks . Recently I changed my car nissan tiida 2011 radiator because of some leaking and after that my car was showing overheating when i drive 60 / 70 km. and i can feel my car was giving small vibration before the overheat indicator. So i do stop the car aside road again fill the water . I can’t see any external water leakage. A/C is working perfectly and heat is not working. I recently changed water pump too. I am tired of this pls can you advice me.

How about changing the upper thermostat also. My 2009 versa has an upper and lower thermostat. Don't do half the job.

This guide does not incorporate the 2017 versa. The thermostat is on the right side under the power steering reservoir.

The piston opens at certain temperature avoiding engine overheat

Has a Upper thermostat which 203 degree's and the lower one that you just installed is a 180 degree's two thermostats total

That's a big "to do" just to replace a thermostat. Sounds planned by the manufacturer, so they get you to go to the dealership to get it fixed or buy a new car. Jerks.

That’s pretty simple, change the spark plugs that’s a bitch jus for spark plugs
