Question? Dont you need to have the engine raised up a little with the hydrolic jack to relieve tension on the mount bolts

You don't need thread locker, that's why you torque the bolts.

The parts used in repairing this vehicle were OEM Honda parts (notice the bag in the video) not the cheap POS parts you have linked.

I can't find a video on it but I did that one recently and it wasn't as hard to line up as the passenger side one but I did have to move the fuse box and unplug the ecu that sits on top of the mount. It is worth replacing that mount because it's the only one connected to the transmission. The other 2 engine mounts are the passenger side and down below near the oil pan. There is also one rubber cone shaped mount directly below the passanger side dogbone shaped mount that has a lot more bolts to remove. It is a very strange setup and I don't know if it is based on the Civic platform.

What are the symptoms of a bad torque strut mount? I was trying to determine if my problem was from a bad engine mount or bad upper and lower torque strut mount. My car vibrates a fair amount on start on for a minute or so and then I also notice it when I am stopped. Also, sometimes when I am slowing down to a stop, when the car shifts down it jolts me forward slightly.

I own 2 civics and had to replace the motor side mounts on both ( 13 & 14 yrs old) because of the vibration . This top torque rod would not help with the vibration problem but the bottom one should take care of the jolting.

The torque mounts probably won’t help with the vibration it’s going to be the main engine mounts or transmission mount.
