In every car we service, we place a folded towel on the windshield. These wiper arms are spring loaded and can fall and crack your windshield.

I’ve changed many sets of wipers on my Tundra without incident. I never thought of this. A folded towel will be future practice. Thank you for the tip.

Peter, thanks. Very helpful. I have had trouble with my 2012 Tundra wipers over the years. Really enjoying your Tundra content. Thanks.

Great Video Brother. I didn't know the Tundra wipers had that different clip.

Better than flowers, thanks foe explaining the application, i never understood why they couldn’t be universal but some applications i like and some I don’t. That one looks really nice and secure on the wiper arm!

Nice! Just replaced the wipers on my '99 Sienna. Not as easy as that but still an easy job anyone can do themselves.

I’ve been using Bosch blades for years and always work great! I get 2 years out of them!

Hello Peter, I have a 2007 tundra sr5 with the 5.7. I'm having an issue with p0300 and p0307 and an occasional p0305 codes. I want to ask your advice in where to start checking for the problem. I got this truck in 2015 and I have never checked or changed Spark plugs or ignition coils. Truck ran fine before these codes. I took it out on the hwy and drove the snot out of it and it was running just fine, no codes. I went to slow down for a turn and all of a sudden came the flashing CEL, vsc, and traction lights. Bad exhaust smell, perhaps fuel, truck ran rough. Just need an idea where to start and also where you get toyota parts and denso parts from

If one flies off, cut off the wipers immediately because the wiper arm will scratch the glass. You wouldn't think metal could scratch something harder than it, but it can. It can rain so hard in Louisiana that windshield wipers can't remove the water fast enough for you to see at highway speed. Once on Interstate - 10, I actually had to pull off the roadway because the water had submerged the wipers, and I could not see a thing in front of me. I crept along the emergency lane until the rain lessened enough for me to see what was in front of me. One Friday evening, 11 inches of rain fell in 3.5 hours.

In every video of the tundra it appears that you have the telescoping towing mirrors extended out.

I treat windshield wipers like my socks and underwear: I wait until they're falling apart before replacing

I use silicone wiper blades they last twice as long.

Good ole days you could just replace the rubber, what happened there. Tired of throwing away whole wiper units

I’m an OEM only guy on my Toyotas but I’ve never bought their wipers. Apparently that and tires are where I draw the line
@marcodarko69418 ай бұрын
I have always bought the oem wiper blades but the Toyota Sightline appear to be made in China now and the quality of them seems to have taken a major downgrade. I would get almost a full year and 12k miles out of a set. I purchased a three, two for the front and one for the rear a few months back and they are noticeably flimsier and also missing the Toyota emblem that was once embossed on them. I won't purchase any oem product that is made in China especially when I get them from the dealership and pay a premium for the parts.

I once dropped the wiper arm and accidentally broke the windscreen. (as it's spring-loaded)😱🤣

I hate the connection style, Toyota can do better.
