Excellant thank u. I'm seeing to many videos of people just manually compressing brakes without doing this.

Every EPB at all cars has a two position switch one position for stop, and other one for releasing, so if you need to release press the switch down, if you need to brake - stop pull it up. The ignition must be on, and the pedal brake or gas be pressed.

What do you think is my 2016 Renegade issue, I filled up my brake fluid and following morning. The brake pedal is hard to press, feels like booster is dead. Did over filling the fluid causes that?
@fpatton3 жыл бұрын
brake booster check valve or vacuum leak somewhere in that system.

Is this same thing for service auto park brake warning light for 2021 Jeep Renegade trailhawk also don’t have this setting on my car?

What happens if you put the brakes in service mode and twist the caliper to put pads on? After changing pads the brakes will not go back out of service mode

What if my screen is broken and I can't see anything, let alone tap on the screen? Is there another way to do this without having to go through this and change my rerar brakes anyway?

Have anymore tips for a renegade? Servicing etc. I wanna know about changing the transmission oil. Other fluids other than regular oil changes. Coolant etc. not many videos about how to fix a Jeep renegade etc.
@messinwithmr.wilson66783 жыл бұрын
There really is not much you can do. The transmission can only be drained and refilled but you need specials tool to check the level. It is not recommended to be changed. Coolant is good for 10 years.

I have a problem with epb on. Came out this morning and understood that I didn’t close the door of the car, so the battery died at night. I want to charge it with another car but the placement of jeep is hard to get to. Here is the question: How to turn off epb when the battery is dead, so I could relocate the car with my hands? Can’t do anything because the brakes and doesn’t turn off despite the battery died.

So my jeep showing light and feels fine got new front and rear brakes less than 4 months ago if I do this restart will it be fine or I should take to mechanic
@rhphotocdn3 жыл бұрын
Great, but you should also tell people how to turn off the parking break without the radio. Say your radio screen is cracked or your battery is dead and can’t access your radio.
@stitchedup4312 жыл бұрын
What do you if someone changed the factory radio out to an aftermarket?
@messinwithmr.wilson66782 жыл бұрын
you can still use a scan tool to retract them

Once its retracted is the piston all the way in so you can install new pads or do you need to C clamp it?
@messinwithmr.wilson66783 жыл бұрын
Once it is retracted then you can use c clamp to compress.
@iliketocamp13423 жыл бұрын
@@messinwithmr.wilson6678 So no need for a special star head tool ? Just a standard c clamp??
@messinwithmr.wilson66783 жыл бұрын
@@iliketocamp1342 just a c-clamp to compress it. But I think the bolts to remove the braket may be an inverted torx?

After watching this I was sure this was my issue Unfortunately there’s something different with my jeep, although I’m working on a Cherokee I went through the unlock/retract sequence and the piston is still seized up
