This was very helpful, thank you. Extremely tedious but it works!! It was perfect for posing a snake I'm working on. I was wondering if you could help me out. I need to do another pose for the snake and was wondering if it is possible to create a new curve for the same snake to follow without breaking it or having to start over completely.

When I make the ikHandle, I cant't seem to get the control vertex option when right clicking, I just get this menu : "Set Preferred Angle" "Edit Joints" "Assume Preferred Angle" :(

OK so I got it to work - just gotta delete the ikHandle object in the outliner and keep the curve; and THEN the control vertix option appears.

Turns out I was just not selecting curve1 in the outliner - for anyone reading this do not delete ikHandle in outliner. and also just binding everything under Skin. SORRY TY

Hi This was very helpfull! But I have a question, when I export everything the mesh doesnt follow the locaters anymore, do you know how I can export all of it, with the mesh connected?

What format do you need to export it into? You can export everything in .mb or .ma format without losing any information in the scene.
