Thanks for sharing this, i had had a real night mare with this today, trying to use 2 devices one on each, the laptop method looks way more elegant a solution.

I have a power meter on my bike so I use the Bluetooth from that on Trainer Road which also has the advantage of being the same readings when I'm outside. (particularly as there is a new feature for TR that allows you to export workouts to your cycle computer) Zwift uses the wahoo kickr power to rack up the milage on there... No ant dongle required... Same PC for both... Sorted

Usually my head unit Garmin Edge or Wahoo Bolt upload automatically to Strava.

You think its possible to use 2 separate ANT Dongles for each app?

Yes you can. However you should only use let one app control the trainer and the other app read power data.
