This is solid. I’ve been trying to master this technique for a while. I’m familiar with placing the tip of the tongue on top of my bottom row of teeth for singing, I’ve never tried it with a scream though. Nailed it first try.

jesus christ.. i was big into the metal scene growing up and in high school back in like 2009-2012 but kinda fell out of following new bands and constantly searching and broadening my horizons on the genre. i started listening to more rap and country and older stuff i liked as a kid like Slipknot and System of a Down, ya know, still jamming some classics but i wasn’t actively engaging in the genre, and i feel like i missed out and also i feel like a douche because i didn’t realize it at the time, but i was definitely following a trend, because a lot of the bands that were HUGE during that time, really started struggling to maintain the same numbers they were doing once upon a time, and my generation, a lot of us at least, let that happen. with that being said, i am more stoked than ever to be finding new and interesting bands and i must say, the evolution of Screaming and vocals in general has came a loooong way since then. i mean, dude, i’m blown away. i didn’t even know a human could make some of these noises. and the strength and volume of your voice in crazy. your pitch and depth and volume do not wavier at all. so damn clean man. really looking forward to diving into your catalog. thanks!

Ive been studying how to scream for years noe but i cant practice bc of my mom. (Not bc she said its too loud or anything, she has cancer and is sick constantly and doing that would just make her more miserable, hearin me scream offf the top of the lungs while shes stuck in bed with a migrane and horribly sick.)
