excellent service and gesture only difference in jamaica tables turn over really quickly there's not much time to be all fine at serving 5 or 6 tables at once

I'm trying to learn about serving because I will be serving as a short-term job during recess. Should one offer a "handbag rack" for a lady to put their bag on?

The hand bag rack is an excellent service to offer. You dont need to verbally comunicate this just simply attach is to the table and the ladies can decide if they want to use it or not.

Practice talking out loud in front of the mirror at home. Read the menu out loud often and get used to saying the words

If you get stuck pouring wine from the guest’s left, is it preferable to pour with your right hand or left hand?

Open hand service always (within reason). You never want to backhand the guest. Also the label of the wine facing the guest is always preferable

how did you know that the first guest preferred to have a decaf coffee? Did you make an inference based off something she had said, or is there something I'm missing?

The dessert Spoon and Forks should be placed down, spoon at the right and fork at the left when you are about to serve desserts and the coffee cup should be at the right side of the guest, anyway maybe in your country thats a normal settings.

@@waitertheresmore WE do International fine dinning settings, Im with you the dessert silverware will be at top of Charger plates , spoon facing left and fork down facing right in the beginning of table set up, but before the desserts serve the dessert spoon and fork need to pull down to be placed at right and left, then serve the dessert, I think thats a proper way.

in italy coffee is after the dessert and of course: cappuccino is only in the morning

Nice enough, but somewhat flawed Starting On 3:25 and so on pooring wine with a closed hand, use different hand, amateur mistake

Tons of napkins are nice also, but not that important, especially for holding the bottle Get your tools ready before servings, not in front of guests faces
