My team is really aggressive and I have been setter for a long time but I kind of just wanted to show my teammates how hard it is, because they think it’s very easy to run a 5-1 when I’m only an 8th grader. They also believe we should be playing the setter all the time and never taking them out. (I am the only setter on my team hence I get very tired after lots of games) I just wanna show them this easy video on setting for beginners because it’s easy for me but I wanna see them struggle 😈😈 I love my team though we have come really far ☺️

I found your channel about a week ago, and have been just watching all your videos. Great content and very entertaining. I know this is a year old, but some tips to help prevent any setting errors. 1. Tilt your fingertips inward. (middle finger and index fingers forms a triangle) This takes strain off your wrists and keeps them in a neutral position. (be sure to keep elbows out). This also prevents the ball from rolling over the top of your fingers when setting.2. Only use your wrist to cushion the ball when receiving it. Generate power from your legs and arms. Keeping your hands still lessens your changes of doubling, since most people have a dominate hand.3. Off foot, net foot. Be sure your net foot in front. This allows you to load more power into the ball without losing accuracy by simply rocking from back foot to net foot while straightening your arms and legs. This also (in theory) lessens the chance of setting over the net accidently because your natural position of your abs is towards your team.
