I have appointments step up in calendar and invites sent to attendees. I want to automatically send a reminder to them 3 days before the meeting. Can this be automatically done?

But Sir does this way sends the reminder a year ahead automatically lets say i wanted my customer to see the reminder on 8/28/2024 ? it didn't work for me that way it just send it direct to their email. kindly your assistance is appreciated .

Just to be clear sir, i want the outlook to send our staffs a reminder, like if they renew their driving license today 8/29/2023 they have to renew it every year that means next year sometimes 8/29/2024. so some times they keep forgetting the renewal day and they pay late fee( penalties) .To avoid that i want to create a system on outlook that can remined them 2 weeks before the expire date of the DR .

After sending the appointment to others, then they'll receive an email about the event & the event will be added to their calendar. Then, depending on the duration (1 hour or whole day) of the event, they'll get a reminder 18 hours or whatever time they've setup themselves prior to the event. That's why they got the email directly & then the event that you wanted got added to their calendar for 8/28/2024. So, they gonna get the actual. reminder on 8/28/24. So, if you don't want to send the email along with the appointment straightaway, then you should use schedule instead. In this way, you could schedule your email reminder to go on 8/28/24 only & remind your clients of the event through the email only!
