@@lizbethdiehl318 No this is not a good idea! This is a recipe for disaster. You’re going to end up losing access to your own crypto by trying to come up with crazy schemes to hide or mix up your seed phrase. It may not seem that way to you now, but there have been many people that have tried crazy schemes of switching words or using code letters or some other kind of scheme. This is completely dependent on you. If you forget what you did, you are completely locked out of your crypto. If you die, your friends and family will never be able to enjoy the crypto that you’ve accumulated because they won’t be able to figure out your crazy code. Keep it simple. Hide your seed phrase in a safe place. That’s it. It’s not rocket science. People do it with gold and jewelry, stocks, and bonds. People have been securing their valuables since time immemorial. Don’t try to complicate things by creating, cryptic codes and puzzles for yourself

Correct! The Cryptotag is not intented to be an encrypted backup. Encrypted backups cause more harm than they do good. But storing seed phrases on metal is way better than on paper.

the actual main let down with the product is having the logo all over it.. would of been an added level of security if it was blank, all someone has to do its google crypto tag and will explain to them exactly how to use and even what is a seed phrase... seems silly to go to the trouble of using bip39. when I get mine I will be removing the logo

the numbers are correlated with a word, the bitcoin dictionary has 2048 words and each number will correlate with a specific word.

Ngrave wallet use the prefect key. I'm not sure if the CryptoTag Zeus has room for it. Does ledger only protect the master private key or does it protect all the xpub address private keys also?

It will only hold one 24 word backup phrase per Zeus product (or 2 x12 word phrases). The Thor product will hold 48 words (2 x 24 word phrases or 4 x 12 word phrases)

The bip39 backup standard is compatible with multiple wallets past present and future. If one wallet company goes out of business, you’ll be able to use your back up phrase to restore to any number of other compatible wallets

One major problem here Rex...your BIP39 list with the corresponding words/numbers are still on paper!! Lose, burn, flush or use it as target practice on a shooting range and the numbers you just punched in, mean nothing....just saying.
