Brian I love the build. Son and I are getting ready to build the Revolution and add our own changes to it. No disrespect! We are calling it the Evolution! Hope that’s okay? Pictures are to follow soon.

Bought the pans for this early last year, to hard to gets kits here in Australia. My Dad whose retired was able to make it as a lock down project last year :) Great grinder, works so well, just added a VFD. PLUS I keep getting the updated plans from House. Highly recommend this unit, couldn't be happier with it.

I can tell you as a machinist in an aerospace machine shop, we buy cheap ass taps also for our handwork. If it goes in a CNC machine, they spend a little more but we only put tiny taps in the machines. If we need anything bigger than a 1/4 inch taped whole it gets thread milled

Hey Brian, if I follow the link to the Ali wheel, I see where to order in 12.7 mm, but what about the choice on “grit” of the wheel? 70A medium or 80A harder?
@HouseMadeUS3 жыл бұрын
I’d go with the harder version.

How did you know where to drill it to balance the wheel can you do a video on how to balance the wheel?
@HouseMadeUS2 жыл бұрын
Put the wheel on an axle, let it naturally roll to the heavy point. Drill and experiment until the wheel is balanced.

House: "when tapping....in and out, in and out!" With the details on the size of your tools and how you use them, I had to make sure I was still on youtube and that I wasn't on AVE's channel. Great video!
