You are not kidding about how great it is now. Tried my new Simucube 2 Sport out on AMS2 and the force feedback is amazing, I can feel everything. I can even feel the differences in grip between cold and warm tyres and feel the aero grip in F1 cars going into corners. I can also feel the balance of the cars perfectly in the rain. I even found myself able to drift F1 cars, if you’d told me that a few months ago I’d have not believed ya.

With a SC2 Pro myself, I found it almost impossible to have it setup, even simple things such as assigning the steering input! After hours of trying, i eventually figured it out but your video certainly gave me an idea as to how to have a baseline FFB setting and work from there. Thanks!

@@audir8972 yes buddy, first put your simucube settings to 900 degrees in true drive and then try again! Ones is signed in the game , go back and put it again to 540 degrees! The wheel need to be on full rotation rate before you first sign in game to see it !

I have to say that one good thing being finn is that we have very active simracing communities with a lot of very skilled guys in both racing and also equipments and expecially simucube settings so doenst matter what you ask someone will advice that in Discord or proposes some setting to try or change.

Cheers on this one , The camera shake for others is something i was having issue with . That happens in AMS2 buddy but is not problem! Set the SC2 to 1nm just to be able to turn the wheel fee and assign with full rotation! For some reason the game read the wheel only if you fully use the rotation range! Hope you understand what I mean 🤛

I now have a G29 and AMS 1 and 2. I prefer AMD 1 because it has more mods but I can't really talk about immersion because I'm on a 15 inch laptop lol. I still use Assetto Corsa most of the time because it has the combination of mods like AMS 1 and the graphics of AMS 2.

Thank you so much for your videos, they are great! I was able to set most things up with your help, but my Simagic wheelbase does not give any force feedback. It turns and shifts just fine however, so it is recognized. Have you tried your Simagic Alpha with this game and did you have to do anything differently? To bel clear, everything works fine in ACC, just not in AMS2. So I don't think it is the base. Something in AMS2 software perhaps?

Race Beyond Matter i have has an issue when i set my angle as 60 which they are due to the bezel free kit but it send the side images outwards instead of inwards to align properly. also i noticed in your triple screen set up you have all tje other settings as centre meters but the distance from screen is set a Millermeters is this were im going wrong

I haven’t tested specifically the 3060 but I know is very close in performance with the my old 2080ti which was capable to run my setup well ! The only sim I had to tweak a bit was ACC so 3060 is very capable card for sure !

I'm always having brake lockups will setting them at 80 in the calibration like you did help? I always set to 100% then set sensitivity to 30 and in car to 75 but still lockup. I get people telling me I have no problems it's all in your head but it's the only game that I can't get the car to brake correctly it's driving me nuts

Please can You tell me which monitor frequency is capable of this graphic card? I would like to buy 3x 240Hz Odyssey G7 but If the card cant go ACC, AMS2 and other games in more than 200FPS than It is useless I think. So maybe 144 or 165Hz is enaugh? Of course I would like to have good visuals too so details on high if possible. So the goal is which monitors should I buy to go simracing games on high details with as much FPS as possible? Hey buddy, ACC on triples have problems to reach even 100 fps on 1080p monitors! I use 144hz and the only sim I can reach those FPS is iRacing with lot of tweaking! That being said , in my opinion doesn’t matter if you take 144 or 240hz but if you want to have future prove monitors you can go for it !

Yes , I know what you mean ! Go in your True Drive and put the strength of the wheel to 1% Just to make sure will be light no matter what! Keep it to 900 degrees too ! Then go in the game and assign all the inputs ! One they are assigned go in true drive again and put your rotation to 540 degrees but keep the power at 1% and jump again in the game and calibrate the rotation in game ! Must show you 60% ! Ones you have done all that you can put back true drive 100% and manage the FFB from the game options! Let me know if that works for you !

I have down loaded Automobilista thanks to your videos. But I can’t set the correct FOV and the side screens the image seems stretch. The Vfov for me is 159 and there is a limit of 130 I think, what I am missing?

Can you try this? Go tho Field of View settings and looks for FOV sensitivity option and try to see if you like that more on ON or Off that is at 06:06 on that video ! Also make sure you choose buttons for all the seat movements because that is how you will be able to change the fov in the game ones you seat in the car !

Try to turn down the Simucube FFB to 2NM to be able to rotate the wheel easily wen you setup in game ! For some reason this sim wants to register the wheels at the edge of the full range of the wheel ! It happens to me too many times !

Sorry I’m coming bit late ! Try those steps- on True Drive out the wheel rotation to 900 deg and pull down the overall strength to 1% ! Then join the game and reset the configurations and start all the process again! Wen you manage to assign all the inputs, go on true drive and put the rotation to 540deg and whatever overall strength you want ! Then jump in the game again and calibrate your stirring! Must show you 60% on the calibration menu ! Let me know if that works!

This happened to me on Simucube Sport. I found what was causing it was turning the wheel to far in the detection stage. If I turned it slower and only maybe half what I thought I should then released it would register the axis ok. Obviously in the next step, calibration, you are told exactly how much to turn the wheel.

Honestly that is not my favorite Sim for driving experience and I use it mostly because I really have fun ! I don’t even check what are my lap times buddy! I enjoy brutally the atmosphere of the game and can pull some great visuals content but for driving I’m hardcore iRacing driver ! I love the ACC and AMS because I truly have fun of the casual experience!

Can you help, earlier i could calibrate sc2 pro easily, now when i calibrate i get force and can not rotate wheel to max degree, even when i map wheel to turn left, it suddenly hits to center, i almost damaged my hands, i deleted all ams2 documents ffb files, but maybe on sc2 paddock some settings shoul be done? Edit- i closed paddock and it let me callibrate with out any forces! Hnz strange i thought i calibrated always wirh paddock drivers soft on…

Yea buddy! Wen you calibrate the wheel from site to site turn of the FFB from the panic button (the safety switch) then you will rotate free from side to side 🤛

@@amigoz3201 I tested the GT Evo and it flex a bit vertically but is not problem at all as you don’t push it in that direction at all ! It will do much better and I have few friends who use it and are happy! I have video about it probably about a year ago !

Thx Fred 🤛❤️ iRacing I run reconstruction filter on 3 in Dumping and friction 5% again in 900 deg rotation range! The other difference is the ultra low latency in iRacing is up to 16% if I try to learn a new car or track I use bit higher FFB in game settings (16-18nm peach’s) just to maximize the learning process and then I go down to 11-12nm peaks

sorry to ask this again maybe iam stupid but i want to make things clear for my understanding... your are on triple 32" ? you are let me guess 54-60cm away ok the Mathematical correct fov ist 39 for ams 2 right? and your are on 63 fov with correcting the seating Position or do i missunderstand something ... my question is why is that? just because it "feels" better for YOUR taste? or is there a a logic behind i dont get right ... iam bit confused i btw calculated with dinex86...

Hey my man how are you ? I Finally ordered the Fanatec Podium DD2 yesterday, it will arrive next week, I’m really happy to get it BUT must wait to order a strong cockpit for the DD2, Simlab P1X with DD mount, Simlab Speed 1 XL bucket seat with brackets. I have now Playseat and offcourse it’s not ideal for DD. I got the DD next week, then save some for the cockpit and as ending the triple monitors. And then it’s finished, even when upgrading never stops... Oh yeah only need a karting shoe that’s also suitable for simracing but that’s nothing in price compared to the others.. I’m coming step by step to finishing THE cockpit. Offcourse it will still be not like yours but very beautiful still. 🏁🏁🏁

Great video from a great channel. I also hace SC2, and I had a very good feeling until they recently made an update and it feels so different. I'm gonna give your settings a try 😉 By the way, the triple screen configuration in my case is a pain. I don't know what happens but I try to enter the measurements and all that but it won't keep it. I always end up opening the config file and changing things there. Next time I open the game everything is restarted..... And same story over and over..... I love the game but that discouraged me from playing more often.

@@chepilevski We race on a facebook group called crest motorsport group. We prefer the default FFB from reiza as we can feel the car grip in corners, downforce , road undulations and road textures ect but there is one guy who loves the karsten hvidberg custom ffb file and i have seen someone mention this but also Nuscorpii "heavy missing" file which fixes missing FFB downforce issues on high speeds. Maybe if you could do a detailed video on both and what you difference you feel between karstens custom file, nuscorpii and reiza default? i will link the files for you, i believe it would make for an awsome video as AMS 2 is getting traction now finally! Do yuo have any AMS 1 videos ?? Is AMS 2 much better than AMS 1 ? I have a major problem using the Controls setup menus and processes. No search capability for assigned buttons and currently I am lucky if I can assign 1 button before it completely fails. thanks...

I can't assign any buttons either! Occasionally I can get one assigned but that's it. Did you fix it? I was really excited to play this game but it's unplayable.

​@@AlexTurbo You know i did find that I had a Switch on my button box flipped on at times ! and that was getting assigned to everything ? very strange. so make sure all switches etc are in the OFF position when assigning buttons or keys. The process of assignments in AMS1 is just nonsensical ... you cant search for anything - So I usually try to assign the button i thnk I want to assign to an EMPTY spot and then it tells me where it is assigned in the INPUT - thats the best I have found. I am trying to justify getting AMS2 but not if its the same process.

Why cant i find the track view when driving both in vr or normal. Please can someone direct me im new to sim racing and having no view of the map is really preventing me from trying to enjoy this game. Assetto corsa amazing game but i only play in vr and assetto corsa just looks so bad in vr i dont want to play it. Someone please help.

I feel like this is the tire touching the chase sound which actually sounds exactly as it sounds in the real car from inside if you talk about that squishy sound wen you hit curb ? Or you are talking in general? Honestly I haven’t felt anything wired!

In the first menu before you jump on any track you will find settings to turn off the wheel and digital body and look the view to horizon to not shake to like crazy!

Great Video, thanks for publishing ! Yestzerday Group C has arrived on AMS 2 !!! Thx a lot to Reiza !!! What a great job they have done again ! I really can't decribe my feelings when driving these cars, I have seen live racing in the early 90's. I have already uploaded my first look and a quick 15min race to KZbin (check for my username AFRUGA67 and "Group C" on YT to see the incredible race action) AMS2 is going to be the best racing sim ever , but please Reiza add some guy waving the chequered flag at the end of a race and a winners podium. It is always dissapointing to finish a race without receiving any rewards , just seeing the race timer going to zero. But again, Reiza is doing superb work delivereing motorsports to race enthusiasts around the globe ! This update is really rockin' !!!

Hi again! Im finally switch from console gaming to PC but now I need to create my game Library from 0. I never play in AMS2 or AMS1 and I don’t know what to expect. Can you tell me which game would be better for simulation? AMS2 or ACC? I know that you love both of this games but maybe you can give me a few tips 🙃

Usually I encourage everyone to taste everything and find which one is more suited for him ! I love all the games for different reasons and each one gives me something special! Right now I’m fully I love with AMS2 but whatever direction you take you will not go wrong! Just keep in mind, with AMS2 you will get crazy amount of cars and different experiences which are not super polished from physics point of view and ACC will give you authentic driving experience! But all those things are very personal! Just jump in one of those and later try the next !
