It’s not practical but would zombies work on the portal if you leave ps5 it on sleep mode

Best believe a pro model will be made . 120 fps ,OLED , wifi 7 , bigger battery , modular sticks like the edge controller to avoid stick drift over the years . Also because it is just going to be a streaming hub ps6 games will most likely also be supported . If they do it right they can smack the hell out of the market the next few years .

New subscriber here 👋 I think this is a Sony reaction to MS doing the marketing where they are saying “a Firestick, it’s an XBox” “a handheld, ROG, it’s an XBox” etc. I don’t own a PS5 anymore, but I’ve just ordered a Portal to see how the experience is.. I may purchase a PS5 Pro on the back of this (Sold my OG PS5 a while back as I was rarely using it).

If you want a device that can play AAA titles, the device need powerful processor, larger battery, more ram, better cooling, which means the device will be significantly hotter, heavier, bulkier, expensiver, and louder with lower battery life.

Devices that can natively play some of these AAA PS5 games at 1080 60fps are like £1,000 lol. My Legion Go was £700 and can’t natively play stuff as well as I can stream games on my portal.

@ literally. I own a Msi zepherys 15 and a steam deck… but none of them look polished like my portal… and the dual sense is amazing with it… and eh I think the ps streaming app is locked at 720p on other platforms if I’m not mistaken

Thanks everyone for the answers & input, the same day of this video, Thursday if I'm not mistaken, I did go out & get a PS Portal & can confirm the initial setup WITH the cloud gaming capabilities, does not need a PS5, at all. Yes, I did just simply purchase a one month membership for PS+ Premium, to give it a try & added it using the PlayStation mobile app.

No. Only games in the catalogue for streaming. You can use Fortnite but you’d have to stream from your PS5
