Adding pockets is a great idea. I've actually done that and it's really easy. I'll have to add a tutorial on how to add pockets!

Were you hoping to make an adult size? I'd probably just add several inches to the bib and skirt. You might also need to add extra length to the straps and the belt.

Is it a yard and a half of fabric for ALL kids sizes up to size 10?

Yes. That is correct. Most of the fabric used to make the skirt part. If you want to use less fabric just use less on the skirt. It won't be as full but it will still look lovely.

This is incredible! Your instructions are so clear, the apron is beautiful, and the music is so calming. I just learned to sew with a machine this year and I want to make an apron for my mom for Christmas. Is there any chance you've made this in an adult size and you have the measurements for the fabric pieces? This is by far the best video I've found during my search and my favorite look. I just need to figure out the dimensions. :)

Inches are difficult for me.. do you mean that the skirt is 54 inches wide for a kid who is 6 years old? I find it too much and i don't know if i understand it right!

54 inches is a lot a fabric but I wanted my apron skirts to be really full. You can absolutely use less fabric. I had done that as well. Fabric usually comes about 40-44 inches across and that also works great.
