I’ve never driven in snow. However most heavy snow at low speeds you can use 4L. In most high traction areas like snow on the road or hard packed sand you would use 4H at higher speeds.

You have to decide between Dependability, Resale value= Toyota or additional features. Ford, Chevy, Dodge. Not have the more important Gaines. Look at the price of a 3-year-old Toyota Tundra in comparison to a 3-year-old Ford F-150. The differences are shocking. Toyotas hold their value more than any other vehicle. Unless you're going to invest on a collector's item.

Thanks for the video and information. This is useful for first time 4x4 Tundra owner like myself. Can I ask you some questions please: - What will happen if I try to switch to 4HI while at speed higher than 62mph? Will it damage something? - i did not know until i read yesterday that we are not supposed to use the 4HI or 4LO on non-slippery pavement. Unfortunately, i already did and experienced some locking and the wheels skidding while making a slow turn to park and again to backout of the parking slot. Did I damage anything in my 2018 Tundra? Please advise. Thank you in advance!
@JSS6 жыл бұрын
kuljo the system is more advanced than us usually. If you accidentally engage 4H at faster speeds, the system will never engage. It may beep at you, but will not lock, so no damage. Drivetrain binding occurs when 4WD is engaged on nonslip surfaces because of different wheel arcs in the front wheels. Damage will only occur if used on those surfaces for long periods of time. You should be good! Thanks for watching! Please subscribe for more.
