I had to hunt through a dozen vids to find this excellent tutorial. In six minutes Saurav told me everything, clearly and concisely. I had to reduce the speed to 0.75 because my mind is slower than his! But in my opinion, the best beginner's video tutorial on KZbin. Thank you so very much Saurav!!!!!!!!!! Truly great stuff there.

Speed was on point in this tutorial :) I usually have to set speed at 2x on other tutorials. He also included some of the most important tips, composition, prime lenses, and level camera! :)

24fps if you want natural looking ( motion blur ) and 60fps if you want to have that smooth look... It's best to use either one of the two mentioned. 24fps = 1/48 or 50 60 fps = 1/120 And depending on how close of far you are from the subject, you should choose wide aperture or closed one. If you're close use 1.8 or around 2.8 and if you're capturing a lot of people in the frame use smaller aperture. I'd prefer to use 1.8 or 2.8 for more light

Great video! In very short video you have stuffed lot of great content. Very helpful. Question about making of this video - How did you mke the video ? I mean - you wrote the content- how much time did you rehearse? How many videos did you add together for editing this? How much time did the whole process take? Pls share info on making of this video.
@ishwarabhat7 жыл бұрын
and while recording you probably took care of all settings. For post production what specific things you had to take care? Did you use prime lens or zoom lense? What kind of lighting this video use? Which software did you use for editing? audio is with shotgun microphone or wireless mic?
@sauravus7 жыл бұрын
+Ishwara Bhat I note down the main points and then I try to elaborate them while speaking. Before recording the video I generally rehearse it twice. For editing it requires a complete whole day. The whole video takes 2-3 days.

Hey Saurav, amazing tutorial. So I am new to videography and lighting. I have been trying out 25fps and 1/50aperture. The iso is a big problem, since it is a slightly darker room I keep the iso low for lesser noise. Do let me know how I can light the room to give it a cinematic look

I just have a query. Suppose i want to shoot at 30fps and my shutter speed is 1/60th. So, does changing the iso leads to the changing of shutterspeed as well or should we keep it constant?
@imagesfromLA6 жыл бұрын
You adjust the iso to work with the shutter speed and aperture you've chosen. For example if you set the iso to 100, but your picture is too dark, simply raise the number of the iso until the picture becomes bright enough for your liking.
