thank you for this video! I did find if you put one side of the shrink wrap flush with the handle you only have to cut one side. A little faster and easier😊 Thank you for your help.

You are ambidextrous! Most people would turn the mug upside down and continue with the heat gun, but you switched the heat gun to your left hand. Good job! What kept the shrink wrap from pulling away from the tape? I'm trying to do just what you did with no luck, it keeps ... well... shrinking and leaving a gap.. You probably won't answer, the video was 2 years ago.

you just want it to shrink enough you dont want it to melt or pop the tape you can put more tape on also the tape can handle the heat overt lap the shrink more that might help also

Sorry Waldo. Shrink wrapping a mug is for a hobbyist. If you planning on making money on selling custom mugs that is just not profitable. You can easily wrap the actual print on the mug tightly with heat tape alone. If you add the cost of shrink material and the time you spent shrinking and wrapping than convection it doesn't add up. JMO

yeah not everyone has a cup press wraps are cheap 4 or 5 cents but ur right there are other ways i use cup press but when I need a full all around wrap the cup press don't work or if I need handle done i might do a video on just tape also thanks for posting

Shrink bags are pretty cheap. Ain't nobody have time for the tape method. I use about 5 different mug and tumbler presses and sometimes I have to shrink wrap and oven method an odd size or design

Have you tried it without the wrap. It's definitely NOT as dark or vibrant woth the added pressure.
