On the two examples of melting the solder, the solder doesn't melt into the seam. You should be looking for a nearly cherry red metal, and a white shiny line around the joint, that means the solder has flowed through the joint, and chemical bonded with the metal on both sides. If this doesn't happen, then its not hot enough or there is a gap.

IMPORTANT: I read on the Internet that because spring rings and lobster clasps get their spring action from a steel spring, they cannot go in the pickling solution. Steel will be attacked by the solution. Also, the chemical reaction may cause your piece to end up coated with copper. On the video, you put the whole chain into the pickling solution, which means damage to the steel spring and some copper coating to the rest of the piece. You should really clarify this to avoid that people do a big mistake.

Is there any such thing as brass soldering paste or brass soldering wire when soldering brass to brass to make its coler match by it being all brass instead of using silver solder on brass joins

For a just jump ring using barrier flux, you don't need to pickle the whole piece, just submerge the soldered section in the pickle and hold the rest back with a clamp on the edge of the pickle pot. Otherwise, you may have to do more final polishing than you need to.

Is it okay if there is some time (an hour, maybe even more than a day) between completing the soldering process and pickling it? I am considering a project that would involve soldering 60 tiny jump rings. I'm wondering if I would need to do this entire process for each ring individually, or if I can pickle the whole completed item.
