If you want to start a conversation in Turkish, you will need some basics. In this video you are going to learn all the basic sentences in Turkish that you need to say hello, how are you, where are you from etc. Learning Turkish can be hard if you don't have a good teacher, so why don't you follow my channel for more videos on Turkish lessons? :D
My name is Reşat Ören and on my channel I post videos about various languages, mainly English, German, Spanish and Turkish.
If you're a polyglot or are just interested in one of those languages and want to learn and acquire them, make sure to stay here and subscribe!
I also post videos about myself and my life. It actually depends on my mood.
No matter what I post though, there's definitely something for everybody out there.
I hope you guys enjoy!

Actually I'm now learning Turkish, so I'm asking you 2 things, but one of them to do. . 1. Create another KZbin channel for those who learn Turkish. 2. Or monthly make 2 videos about Turkish language, for example, "Common phrases, or daily sentences.. ect"

The distinction between formal and informal phrases in Turkish is basically the same as Romance languages, or German, or Slavic languages. Basically most European languages except for English. For me, an Italian, it’s simply sen=tu and siz=voi, both for formal and plural speech. Actually in modern Italian we mostly use Lei for formal speech, but Voi is perfectly understandable. Same thing for Tu vs. Vous in French, Tu vs. Usted in Spanish or Ты vs. Вы in Russian. Basically this lengthy explanation is necessary only for English speakers :)

you should do online Turkish lessons for foreigners. I've been struggling A LOT to find a good teacher that can actually speak good English - mostly neutral pronunciation - to teach me. I've been here for a year and my Turkish is just so basic lol

Yazılışları da doğru yazsa müthiş olacak. Mesela Hoşça kalın, hoş geldin, hoş bulduk/gördük vs. Türk Dil Kurumuna göre ayrı yazılır.

This was a very cool video! Lots of revision for me! I've been learning Turkish for six months and I can understand more than I can say right now but it's getting there. Looking forward to more videos like this? P.S. I know you teach English online, but do you also teach Turkish as a foreign language? Greetings from England!

I have a question, I see some Turkish people (obviously in TV series 😂) says Meraba like they dont pronounce the "h". So I dont if I am hearing it wrong or it's an accent thing based on different regions

They are not the official pronunciations. You'll see the correct pronunciation when a newsreader or a voice actor pronounce it in the correct way. What i mean correct here is the official form that State's Turkish Language Society(TDK) determined. The official Turkish language is Istanbul dialect. People in Turkey generally try to speak correctly in Istanbul dialect but of course there are many other Turkish dialects too.
