Intermittent fasting is amazing. I’ve gone from 284 pounds to 231 pounds in 4 months which may not seem like a lot but I feel amazing. I do the 16:8 method. My problem was always overconsumption and no control. My life has changed completely.

I weighed the same when I started fasting I just started working out my goal is to lose 20 to 50lbs before the year is over so far I've lost 20lbs

When I've done intermittent fasting in the past (and been consistent 😁), I like to start with the 16:8 protocol for at least a week before adjusting my "fast" and "feed" times. I've lost up to 23 lbs. in a month with just fasting.

I’ve been intermittent fasting for about three years. I feel much lighter when I stick to it. My tummy feels better and is flat when I stay consistent as well.

Intermittent fasting is wonderful, done correctly and of course it's not for everyone. It helped me shed 45lbs and helped maintain the weight off. I did hit a point where I wasn't happy with my result, so I altered my approach and gained enough to where I was happy where I was! Definitely need a lot of patience and discipline.

Same thing happened to me! I started making healthier choices January of this year and then a couple months in I noticed I wasn’t eating until a certain time of the day and I would stop at a certain time of the day as well, and I was feeling better and dropping weight before realizing I was doing some sort of intermittent fasting. 🙌🏼 thanks for your awesome videos!

I actually started intermittent fasting a few months ago because I noticed that I was eating throughout the day since I am full-time work from home employee. I am doing the 16/8 and my eating window is 11a-7p. I have loss weight since standardizing when I eat but my goal was really to get control of how often I was eating working from home. I have to start incorporating strength training into my workout regimen. Good tips in the video!

I been fasting for 3 weeks and I love it. It’s simple and do able. My only concern is getting full quicker and not being able to eat as much as I use to. I’m a bit of a foodie , and it sucks when my body is full but I want to eat something else. I look forward to eating but I also notice I’m more concerned about eating foods I really enjoy.

I tried IF a couple years back and I got great results but then my weight halted so I just gave in because I felt it was doing nothing. But looking back I did have much more energy so will start today plus I'm vegan so this will definitely help. My problem is just choosing the right foods. I just started intermittent fasting with OMAD this week. I have always excercised by walking 5 days a week, usually 2 times a day. But I plan on replacing one of the cardio workouts with alternating strength training and yoga.

I have been doing intermittent fasting for over a year and had lost 50 pounds. Oct. 2020 I had to get a series of steroid injections for my back, one in Nov. and the last one in Dec. I never changed the way I ate, but in Jan. 2021 I went for my regular appt. and I had 30 pds. back on and I was devastated. I am still doing the fasting 18/4, but I'm not doing exercising like I use to. Back issues and recently found out I have a cyst behind my right knee cap so that knee won't bend without pain. I'm still sticking with the fasting and hoping that I'll start seeing loses again instead of gains. Thanks for the video, it was very informative.

I just started a 22:2 fast meaning I have two hours throughout the day when I eat a full whole food plant based meal. During my fasting time I walk or do yoga and I've also started lite weight lifting. I drink tons of chlorophyll water and regular water sometimes with a lemon or key lime. If I feel myself getting a little bit sluggish I will indulge in a mono fruit meal because I do take blood pressure medication. So far I feel great 👍😌

Okay, so when you're fasting in the morning, do you add sweeteners to your coffee without breaking your fast?? That's my biggest worry. I need sugar or sugar substitute in my coffee or tea in the morning. As long as I can still do that then I'm good!!! Thanks so much Dr. NINA

Let me say this, when I go to the doc to get blood test, they allow me to be considered "fasting" with sweetners. I think the biggest question is if it feels personally that you are breaking fast. Depending on the morning I am not as strict.

I normally do the 20/4 because I have a tendency to graze throughout the day. I've lost 50 pounds in the last year. The food I eat is crap sometimes and I'm a slacker when it comes to exercise or it would probably be more. Every now and then I will throw a 24-48 hour water fast in there. My longest fast was 80 hours. I'm messianic so I do several 20-24 hour dry fasts throughout the year too. I discovered that it helps with my HS.

I’m glad you shared this I’ve been thinking about trying IF to get back to my pre-Covid body. I’m definitely going to see which feels easiest for me to follow. I’m an RN so eating 3 meals on a work day is nearly impossible but maybe my work days could be my 500-600 calorie days.

I like to do the 16/8 a few times a month. I don’t do well with fasted cardio it makes me nauseous especially if harder cardio. Still working on my best for me plan. Ultimately I’m trying to be mostly plant based but I have to be gluten free (celiac) and live in southeast Texas so that’s always fun lol

How do you stop binge eating? After pregnancy postpartum has benefits hard and I notice I binge eat when I feel sad, mad, nervous etc.. I've gained Ed so much weight and just wanna loose weight be healthy 🙃

I did intermittent fasting for about two months earlier this year. I didn't see significant weight loss. During that time, I was lifting weights and not counting calories. I'm thinking about trying it again but with counting calories. How do you manage hunger from intense workouts with only eating 1500-1600 calories a day? From your workouts, I'm guessing you burn a significant amount of calories, but you don't seem to eat them back

Hello, I have been doing 16/8 anymore I cant tell what is and what is not working I am 53 been going through menopause and it seems like it takes a month to lose 1 pound and its quite frustrating. I don't know if I need to take a break from the fasting method and just go back to regular schedule like eating two hours after I am awake and so on an so forth. I recently ordered the Greens from Teami. I was excited until I found a headless bug in it. Luckily I only mixed it with water that morning and didn’t have time to make a smoothie, or I wouldn’t have known smh. They didn’t even offer to exchange or anything, even with my container being more than 2/3 full. Outside of the bug, what I had was good. But not ordering from them again though, after being left on read.

I have tried it many times and was unsuccessful. I would overeat when I could eat. I would eat anything. Not to mention during fasting I would still have my coffee with cream whipped cream and sugar. I need help. I’ve been working out since January and my weight just stays the same. I lost maybe two pounds in six months. It’s embarrassing. I sleep eat. I over eat. I drink margaritas with salt. Idk

Intermittent fast really does work. This is the only diet I've tied that worked for me. I'm now trying the cabbage soup diet now.

I would definitely get in with your doc, see how it may be affecting your body and hormones. I understand that could be frustrating, but I believe something could be figured out.

One question, when intermittent fasting while counting your calories and staying on a calorie deficit is it ok to eat what ever you want as long as you don't go over your set calories? I want to lose weight but I don't like veggies 😕

Try fruits with things like nutella, and veggies with ranch, peanut butter, etc. Broccoli with low fat cheese, and butternut squash with low fat butter and cinnamon, can tastes similar to yams. Those kinds of things can help you get an acquired taste for veggies

I try to eat 2 meals, 12 hours apart. I add Gatorade powder to my gallon water jug to help hydrate during the day, and add that to my daily calorie count. I do try to keep around or under 2000 calories each day. I already dropped from above 450 to about 350 in about 2 years with some sliding of a few pounds here and there. I found the two meals has made my stomach smaller, so I need less to feel full at each meal. I lost weight during this COVID stuff, so I feel pretty good about that (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) I need to work more at this, and I'm trying. I'll be 41 in October. I eventually want to be at my high school weight, which is 180lbs and a size 12. I'm also disabled. I'm going to try the DoFasting program around the 1st, when I have money. Thanks for sharing this! (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
