I left my family, friends and partner to pursue my dream career in another continent. 4 years have gone by, I had everything I wanted. However, I ended up being depressed and alone. Constantly thinking about ending my life. But a month ago I decided to quit my “dream job” and start over again and restructure my beliefs system of happiness and success. I’m terrified, but I haven’t feel the adrenaline to survive and live life for so long.

I made a terrible decision last year which has made my life way worse than it could be now in every way (it has damaged both my career and my personal life). My primary goal right now is to find a much better job which allows me to become independent. Same here I’m 26. One decision. In one week. Everything changed. I was almost financially independent for the next 5 years. Lost all money I saved in last two years while I had a job. Invested in the stock market with options and quintipled my money but things changed faster than I can imagine and I’m back to square one like I just graduated high school. Man I dont want to waste mg life working for anyone again. I have to fight the thought of wishing I could go back in time. I thought I was trusting my gut!!! I thought. I took a huge leap of faith and quit my amazing (in other peoples’ eyes) job. I just don’t understand life rn.

One of rhe first things i believe you must do, is take the toxic people out of your life.....forever. It's the only way. Even if its your own family. You have to face that reality. You will never start over until your purge bad relatiionships with people who truly dint care about you. Just because they listen and talk to you...means nothing. You have to make up your mind that you dont need anyones approval but your own to feel good about yourself. Chances are...they really could care less.

June 3rd, 2021 marked 20 years since I moved to the opposite side of the country and started a completely new life on my own. So many thoughts go through my mind every day.. Should I have done things different... Probably but that's history, I made it through and that's all that matters now.... Should I try to reconnect with the family I left behind to see if things will workout now even though I don't think it will. But most of all, I have forgotten about how good it feels to free form the toxicity and criticism from other people. I forgot how good it to be me and only me, thousands of miles away from the life I left behind.

What I learned from this video: nobody cares about you, accept the past (even if it causes permanent health damage ???), know right away where you want to be, even though you are not thinking clearly (very helpful), instantly know something that you do not yet know; don't listen to experienced people, keep following your gut, even though you are not in the right state of mind. Oh and be prepared for failure, because you are yet to feel even worse than before. Thank you for this uplifting video.

After my divorce I was tired of everything. I was tires of where I was living, my job, and how life was going. I decide to pick up and move to a new city and state where no one knew who I was. It felt like a real fresh start. It was one of the best decisions I had ever made. My life is so much happier now.

I did all of this in 2019. That was such an optimistic time. Then the pandemic happened. My problem is I've faced so many setbacks due to things outside of my control I'm too afraid to take risks.
