I have been dieting and working out the entire year of 2023. I have not dropped my NY Resolution and do not plan to. I have lost 70 lbs this year, gained self-love, gave up most carbs and gained more control over my life in general. Control what you can and don't try to control what you can't. I am nothing if I cannot commit to a goal and achieve it. Staying in a constant state of growth is invigorating. I actually like who I am. Hindsight is so crazy. i prayed for this girl that I am now. The "almost-300lb version" of me would have never believed it. I am still working towards losing 30-40lbs more. I enjoy watching your content.

Watching your videos, day by day, makes me realize how important it is to make every single minute & breath we take worth it! Still struggling because of thousand reasons tho, but I'll get there! Before Covid I was at my peak, but after I got in a toxic relationship that only ended this year. I’ve gained over 50lbs and earlier this year I was so consistently that I even lost 10lbs. I know it’s possible I’ve just kept making excuses, but no more!!! I will commit to my fitness journey. To feel better, to be healthy, to be mentally healthy and just to feel good and confident within myself ❤

I have been struggling with remaining consistent on my fitness journey. Legit motivation. I like how you share the challenges you face as well on your journey. My biggest takeaway... "You can have excuses or you can have success, but not both".
@SimplyyHelen11 ай бұрын
Since everyone is sharing their story and goals, I am going to do this too. In 2022 I was on such a good fitness/ gym plan. Had a very good balance in life and was mentally & physically in best form. But since this year, I have developed very bad anxiety which stops me from leaving the house and therefore from going to the gym. I want to work out but I have so many problems to build up the strenght to take a step outside. For 2024 I will try everything to let this fear behind me and just start being consistent again. I hope I can come back here in a year and see what progress I made! Love these videos for self development Lena, without you I wouldn‘t have had the motivation to do anything.
@smilesnluvd65269 ай бұрын
Since the anxiety is about leaving home, why don't you take some pressure off you and do some at home workouts? Anxiety is tough, so don't beat yourself up over its effects. Try a modification. I hope this helps.

Lena, I know this is exactly THE thing someone needed to see and hear to forever change their life. It was smart and humble of you to include BEFORE pictures. It gives credibility to your message. One final thought - I love romanticizing going to the gym and working out. i’ve been trying for months now to get into a good routine and start being more healthy for myself. I have been focusing in small bits, first was trying to love myself more. Just because I am heavier than I think I should be or want to be doesn’t mean I can’t love who I am in this body. Now? I’m focusing more on healthy choices and addressing my binging. I stopped binging for a little while and it has gotten so much worse because I had a lot of stress but now? I’m working on better days and implementing workouts as I go. This week? I wanted to start strong and workout everyday but it hasn’t happened and instead of pushing it back? I realized if I try to do 5 workouts right off the bat that I know I’ll struggle and hate? I won’t keep up. So i’m going to try and do at least one (more than my usual zero) and then i’ll increase because i won’t dread doing them. I’m sure no one will read this but im putting it out there so I can hold myself accountable, put it in the universe, and this video was my sign to keep pushing and take care of me

After I had my son In 2018, I lost 100lbs and felt the best I’ve ever felt. After having my daughter in 2021, I’ve gained about 60lbs back. This time I’m going in knowing what I’m capable of and what the end goal will be like because I’ve been there before. Only difference now is I’m doing this with God. I’m giving my all and I’m giving it to Him. This time is different. ☺️

Love all of these, especially the last tip ! I definitely struggle with perfectionism and it’s a good reminder that there is beauty in trying !

Started working on my health earlier this year, I was at 145 which is not great for my health. I am now eating healthy and am at 130. My goal by next year is to work on strength and to loose some weight so I am at around 120. Be mindful that weight isn't the same for everyone, it can look different, and everyone has different goals. Just because I want to loose some weight doesn't mean that should be everyone's goal! everyone is on their own journey :)
