I answer that in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/haulqaKgarl2n9k Hot water tanks generally provide heat around 60C / 140F which is quite good. I prefer machines without heaters as they generally have stronger vacuums (there's only so much power you can draw from an outlet without blowing a fuse). You'll need to refill it every 2 rooms or so, but it's no big deal in my mind. It's nice having a lighter machine when you do this 5 days a week

You are fortunate that you have a very educated way of speaking the way you speak you could basically say anything even if you were wrong, you would sound like you knew what you were doing. I mean that as a compliment because other people are born on the wrong side of the tracks And have a uneducated way of speaking or perhaps also known as kind of a ghetto slang or something and if this is the way you talk, you will have a hard time trying to clean carpet like this, but if you sound very educated like the man in this video then you shouldn’t have any problems people are willing to take a chance on people that sound like they know what they’re doing so if you don’t sound educated, they’re less likely to take a chance

Good point actually. This is definitely not the "best" equipment. A new van with a truckmount would be ideal. But if you're professional, many people will recommend you because you're trustworthy and inspiring. They may write you a google review or share your info on social media which is a huge boost. Character plays an important role, even the way you speak...

Lol yes that's true. The marketing component of the business is extremely important. Worth noting that we don't actually use this set-up for most of our locations. The purpose of the video is to show the *minimum* required to start a business in this field. In time, the business should grow and invest in a commercial vehicle and more expensive equipment. For 3K you can get started, just charge low prices to get customers. Then mature into a 70K rig if you're willing to dedicate 10+ years into the business

It is requested sometimes. We generally don't. We state that our insurance policy prohibits us from doing it and we clean under/around as good as possible

Small furniture yes. Big stuff I deny for insurance reasons. It's somewhat common but our software sends an automated email which requests that they prepare for their appointment by moving their furniture prior to our arrival. Sometimes we have to simply clean around large/heavy furniture

based on the video, not a criticism just an observation …….it seems like you filled up entire bucket and put in the clean tank , but when you dumped dirty water barely half of bucket filled. mskes me think alot of water being left behind to dry …. one vac portable suction just not as strong as double vac. results look brighter and those extra dry passes a must !!!! good luck

Hi Teri, thanks for the observation, I invite you to take a second look. This was the course of events with additional context: 14:50 - Added a full bucket (+ added a bit more later in the clean but I didn't film it) 25:40 - Emptied a full bucket just to make it lighter when carrying down the stairs. 28:05 - Emptied the remainder + the additional water that was sucked up from dry passes of the hallway/stairs while the machine was at the bottom of the stairs. You will notice that in this scene there is laminate flooring confirming that it's at the bottom of the stairs now. The E600 is pretty good for some new entrepreneurs, that being said, I do agree that double vac is stronger and I recommend the Ninja 200D in my equipment video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/haulqaKgarl2n9k Obviously, upgrade further to a Truckmount if you want to maximize CFM/Water Lift and have the money. There's no excess water left but it's still slightly damp for 4 hours-ish (depends on the humidity of the area, temperature, etc.) I advise customers to wear clean shoes and feel free to walk on it

Oh ya of course! Just make sure you drain the water from the dirty and clean tanks so you don’t pour it all over the car. I Lay mine down all the time when doing maintenance. Also goes without saying, make sure it’s unplugged first and don’t lay it down on any important connections or fragile pieces

I think I have all the equipment. Here a list. Extractor: Ninja 200D Carpet Wand Vacuum/ Solution Hose Hard Bristle Brush Spray Bottle/Backpack Spray (On the way) Upholstery tool head (Not sure what the name is) Steam Gun Microfiber wipes/Blades to scrape All of this cost me about $3000 but the part that leaves me confused the most is chemical selection and how to know what to use. (For carpet or vehicles). I’m so lost on this and didn’t think it would be this hard to grasp for me. Help please. Bonus Question: Do we mix solution in the clean water tank or just simply use hot water?

I personally never mix any chemicals into the machine because it builds up and means more maintenance. I will occasionally add acid rinse if carpets are extremely dirty. Find your local carpet cleaning supplier, I get all of my information from them! They are excellent at teaching you about chemicals. Also check out carpet cleaners Truckmount forum on google, there’s a great community there with lots of knowledge!
