Excellent thanks for this. Yours is the only video I have seen to show how the L2 and R2 trigger caps come off. Even ifixit doesn't show it in as much detail as you have. Many thanks.

So I changed out my triggers I put the gears in the correct slots but idk they're more sensitive? I barely put pressure on my trigger and it's like Im press it when I'm not trying to. What did I do wrong?

Yeah I just skipped the triggers lol, was already changing the colors plus installing the extreme rate back button kit at the same time

Not at all. L1 and R1 can be removed without doing anything. L2 and R2 are more complicated as they are attached for force/haptic feedback and require more effort. I do show it in this video but not specifically just for the triggers. It’s not too difficult, just needs time and patience.

Hi there just come to change my triggers so watched your video thanks 👍 quite fiddly only then came to put it back together then found out it wasn't functioning properly only then to notice the trigger ribbon had split 😪 they seem quite cheap and easy to split in that case even when was careful, so not sure if already had a small split in it to start with, so hoping to find a replacement part, cheers 👍

Are you using bdm010 or bdm-020? Do you suppose to leave them two rubbers for the buttons and button pad or not. I seen other videos that u take them off when installing face click triggers. Thanks great video though

Thank you for the guide. I just finished, and my controller only works when plugged in. It won't charge. Any idea what could cause this? I verified all ribbons appear to be connected correctly.

Hey not sure if you would have found the solution yet, it’s most Likely the battery just get a different one and it should work, I had the same problem it would only work when connected to the ps5

are you sure you didnt buy the wrong one? cause there is one for ps4 controllers and one for ps5 controllers
