Julya Flyer cats DO carry/facilitate toxoplasmosis which is extremely dangerous to pregnant women. Cats also carry/facilitate ringworm infections as well. They piss and shit in the sand boxes at kids schools during the night time and it gets transmitted to kids and families that way. But I also knew of a case where a guy was on vacation and his mom looked after his cat while he was gone. When he got back he noticed little pebbles kinda stuck in his couch. He didn’t think twice about it. He took a shower and put on sum boxer style underwear and grabbed a blanket and fell asleep on the couch watching tv. He woke up the next morning COVERED from head to toes with ringworm. It was from the top of his bald head to the bottom of his feet and EVERYWHERE in between. Basically the cat had been walking and scratching all over the couch while he was gone and those little rocks imbedded in the couch were actually pieces of cat litter 😳 he had to take antifungal pills for a long stretch, quarantine himself so he didn’t spread it ((about a month)), and have liver function tests done because the medication to treat ringworm is very toxic to the liver. He couldn’t use ringworm cream because it was too many all over his body, all at once. CATS DO CARRY GERMS THAT AFFECT HUMANS. Stinky, pissy cats 🤮

I live with companion parrots one of which is actually larger than most of these cats. But cats just CANT leave a bird alone despite overeating at home. Now I would feel sorry for any cat taking on Rio my 26 y/o Blue & Gold macaw. She has never lived with a cat. She was raised for 9 months by her first owner with another B&G macaw named Tonga. You’d think she wouldn’t really know to be wary of cats, but when ever a cat wanders up to the aviary windows Rio never misses one. I’ll be scratching her on her tree and she tenses up quickly visually tracking the cat. I get the impression from sensing her thoughts that she just would never ever trust a cat anywhere near. Now this may be due to my militant defense of wild birds too. I would feel sorry for any cat that would try to sneak up to her though. I Wouldn’t be surprised if the cat might be missing a paw afterwards. Comes in handy having a warlord macaw 🦜

I'm a night owl in PA, USA and there are a lot of toads and frogs. And f**king cats people just put out whenever they feel like it. I sit out a lot and watch out for the native animals. I have dealt with my outside stuff being pissed on and dead animals which really makes me mad. I've also had a cat take food off my grill while it was cooking. Having recently moved onto town where, it seems, is cat central. It appears neighbours either side of me have about cats per household. I don't mind cats as such, but it seems they take delight in leaving varying sized parcels strategically placed where I walk. The tell tale signs are 1) leaves stuck to the bottom of my gumboot making crackling sounds when I step, 2) the scent of catshit when I get back into my car, 3) me talking to loudly for in town my dislike of stepping in so many "parcels". I suspect the cat owners know my dislike of their cat's shit, but somehow this doesn't convey to their cats. Love these videos, makes me laugh and laugh. Thankyou

BarryTheElephant Yea, probably so. They sell that cat-chaser at Amazon, it's around $45, hooks up to your hose then it has a stake you put in your lawn close to your car, it's motion-activated, when a cat (or a person) comes near it sprays a blast,of water in a 30 degree arc.

Or better yet... buy an infrared (a.k.a. "motion activated") water sprinkler. So first off, this video is absolutely hilarious and brilliant and I feel his pain. I had a bunch of feral cats take up residence in our backyard which made mowing the lawn a filthy endeavor. My M14 G&G Airsoft gun would have been effective if I could have caught any of them lurking around, but in the end I settled on a couple infrared sprinklers. They are EXACTLY what was used in this video except were a bit easier to construct: - Log onto Amazon.com - Search for "motion activated sprinkler" - Click "buy" I currently own 4 Contech Scarecrows but there are a ton of suppliers and I suspect they all work well. I set up my first 2 then watched cats, deer, coyote, raccoons, possum, dogs, rabbits, a ground hog, birds, squirrels, and my kids all freak and run to get out of the yard. After two years the cats still skirt along the edges of my yard. The sprinklers are also brilliant for defending backyard gardens.
