Definitely more moves not needing much flexibility. All of us aren't 10th planet devotees.

My coach torreandos me every, time, but he goes into knee on belly. What do I do if they don't dip their shoulders down?

The easy answer is to frame the leading edge, typically his shin or knee, and then hip escape. We go into this in detail in the instructional but here's the same concept being applied in a slightly different setting from a different instructional! kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3LNc6xva8mJpsk

Lol wtf is this. If you hip escape when defending a toreando you are gifting them the pass. The whole point of guard retention is to not give your opponent the space between your knee and your chest. By hip escaping you are presenting that shit on a platter. All the guy has to do when on top is change the angle and drop onto you. Literally every single high level guard player advises against hip escaping when defending toreandos and you’ll never see it at a high level and yet you are advocating it. Has there been any research into your techniques/concepts or are you just making things up to make a quick dollar?
