I literally have fallen off but today I'm getting back into the gym after my shower today. Steps back into getting back into my groove because I'm worthy of taking care of myself

I woke up today at 4 am worked out, cleaned, showered. basically my non negotiables and since working on myself it's been such a blessing finding myself not "gardening " as much.

This is a great video! If you haven’t already, research the withdrawal symptoms for gardening. I quit a little over a year ago and I was FLOORED. I had always been told you can’t be addicted to it, it doesn’t have physical withdrawals, blah blah blah. So untrue. It absolutely disrupts sleep even for people who pass out when they do it. Big symptoms for me after quitting were insomnia, wild dreams, body temperature regulation (constantly hot then cold etc), and coughing up gross phlegm for literally 2-3 months. I told myself I would go one year without it. Now I have very little desire to ever do it again. Maybe someday as a one off with friends for a special occasion. But I’m still working on identifying my source problem like you talked about here, so I’m not ready to do it at all again any time soon. Since quitting gardening my brain tried to replace it with alcohol & binge eating so I’m trying to identify the root problem to address that rather than just the symptoms. Thanks for your great videos! Peace and love!

Thank you for sharing this because I definitely think this is so true!! I think with ANYTHING there’s going to be some sort of withdrawal even if it’s not as harsh as others- If anything, the emotional and habitual dependence on it will OF COURSE hit you hard when you try to stop! Thank you for sharing and I really wish you the best on this journey. You’re already learning so much about yourself so I have no doubt that you’ll continue on an upward trajectory 🤍

Thank you so much for this. I quit “gardening” at the beginning of the year until June and found myself back in the cycle.. quit again in August.. and then found myself back in the cycle in October😢every time it was cold turkey.. this time I’m ready to be done again.. I know what I’m escaping but stopping this time has been a little more challenging.. but the fact I’ve done it before lets me know I CAN AND WILL DO IT AGAIN..
@theglowupsecretspodcastАй бұрын
Yessss girl honestly I’m really proud of you because it IS a journey. Sometimes you can just “stop” and never look back, but sometimes it comes up again and that’s really just a chance for us to go deeper into ourselves and transform EVEN MORE! give yourself grace and trust that you got yourself on this journey 🥰🤍

Here again to say that every video seems to be posted for me specifically 🤯 I found your channel last year around this time and I literally changed my life completely for about 7 or 8 months, lost a ton of weight, was in the best mindset, had healthy habits…the past few months I’ve totally fallen off the wagon and I’m trying to get back to the routines I had set for myself. Smoking has been the biggest bad habit I’ve picked up to escape my reality and boredom, i hate it and yet found myself smoking daily. I don’t think I could’ve watched this video at a better time, and on a hot girl walk at that🙌🏻

wow, I'm really so happy to hear that opening up about this topic has been hitting home for so many of you! you are truly never alone 🤍 I must say I'm really proud of you for all the work that you HAVE done (and has NOT been erased just because you've found yourself in a bit of a slump) and I hope you do too ✨ think about how good this winter could be without the reliance on smoking daily.. 🥰

This is definitely a tangent, but recreational cannabis has been legal where I live since 2016, so it seems so silly to sensor it. I totally understand it though. It could be flagged by an automated system for age-restricted content or it may not be available in some countries. If you're not promoting anything unhealthy or illegal, I would hope that the chances of that happening would be slim, but I really don't know.
@theglowupsecretspodcastАй бұрын
Unfortunately they’re still very high as I also have some cannabis content creator friends and I SEE the struggle so yeah, that’s why I’m being extra careful but you’re right! It’s been legal in Canada for so long here that it feels so silly to even think as if it needs to be censored- also considering I still think it has a lot of beneficial uses unlike alcohol 😫
