Andy, this was extremely helpful. I’ve watched probably 6 or 7 vids on this topic and never really could pull it off and make it sound “musical “. The key for me was very early in the lesson when you said something about how a toddler would just slap the strings and it would sound just right. For whatever reason, that image made it “click “ for me. After just a few minutes I improved my snare sound bunches! Thank you.
