I really liked this. It's nice seeing how others learn and it's a great way to pick up on tips. I always focus on how to pronounce the kanji instead of just knowing the meaning. Sometimes I'll catch myself saying something like 人口 as じんぐち instead of じんこう and then I just get stuck instead of continuing to read. I look forward to more interviews with カリナさん。

WakeEntryさん、こんにちは!I'm so happy to hear that you like this interview! Thank you for the positive comment! In terms of reading, I think it is very important to focus on the meaning of Kanji. But your approach is very helpful if you talk to people or read something out :)

Russellさん、ようこそ!Thank you for your comment! I'm glad to hear that :)
I don’t like it when podcaasters get lazy and do “interviews”; they’re not interesting!

It's not lazy. She puts a lot of work into her other videos and not once has she asked for anything in return. So who cares if she does an interview? Maybe some people want to see this kind of content. I would like to know how a non native speaker learned how to speak Japanese because they can provide some tips and advice that a native might not pick up on. It's pretty rude to call it lazy especially when she puts out multiple videos every week which take a lot of time to compose and edit.

She doesn't own you anything. The channel is hers, she can do the kind of content she feels like. And this is far from lazy, she went as far as adding subtitles for people who study seriously.

This was a terrific interview - and especially helpful to someone like me who is a novice learner who wants to improve.

I respect your opinion, but this is not "being lazy"! if you don't like it, please just leave it.
