I know this video is a few months old, but be aware that the Etsy tabs have upgraded their adhesive and are now PERMANENT, not restickable! Good for durability but not as forgiving in changing placement! I ordered mine before seeing your video (I like color!) and haven't received them yet, but can't wait to place them! I'm glad to see they'll be coming with an easy to use placement guide, especially considering the new adhesive. Thanks for this video and all your other vids! They have been a tremendous help on my CPC journey!

I got those same tabs for my ICD10 and CPT books. Love them! As a newbie just getting use to the books, made things so much nicer. Also, at my exam, proctors didn’t mind the tabs.

Hey I got my shirt so fast! I love the color and design! I only had one problem and that was the size ran small. I order one size larger usually too have a looser for however my size up shirt 2XL is tight. I will still wear it with pride!

Next time you do this video lay the paper alignment guide on the table beside the book and then place the tabs. That way you don't have to keep moving the alignment page

I ordered tabs off of Amazon and I am not impressed. I did notice that when you opened your 2024 ICD 10 CM book that you have 2 pages of tabs where I only have one page. I searched the AAPC store on the website and I cannot find any "official" tabs. Would you happen to have a link for that or any insight? I just dont care for the amazon tabs with cartoons printed on them. Any help is always appreciated.

Taking my CRC in a month - instructors told us to NOT tab out ICD10 book because AAPC proctors were REALLY strict (no idea why). Watching along because I want to get a 2024 set and have been curious about the tabs you got. Edit: you mentioned you don’t tab your book - does it get in the way when you use the book to search a code?

I took the cpc exam last Saturday and the only thing I was told was that you can't have codes on the tab, but how you set your book up is personal preference. For me. I only tabbed the a-z codes because in the exam you won't use the index. Up to you though.

"Handwritten notes are acceptable in the coding books only if they pertain to daily coding activities. Questions from the Study Guides, Practice Exams, or the Exam itself are prohibited. Tabs may be inserted, taped, pasted, glued, or stapled in the manuals so long as the obvious intent of the tab is to earmark a page with words or numbers, not supplement information in the book. Altering, whiting out, painting, or printing over any pages within the code books (e.g., marketing pages, table of contents, reference pages, etc.) to supplement information is prohibited. Question if I am taking the AAPC Certification CPC hopefully in December 2023, however if I end up feeling like I need a bit more study time and push it back until January 2024 can I still utilize the 2023 Optum ICD-10-CM, AMA CPT 2023, and Optum HCPCS Level II 2023 that I have been studying from -- even in January 2024? Under AAPC I had read you could use the current year and the previous year code books. Yet the last time I visited their site I did not see this, so I was hoping you would know this answer.
