Hella late, but this video is saving my butt- for some reason tacking a horse and remembering the order and what’s called what stresses me out more than actually riding. my second lesson (tomorrow) is going to have other people-which is making me nervous bc I don’t want to look dumb or make a bad mistake. Taylor Waters I don't ride western so I don't really know what you can or can't wear for competitions but I can't see why you shouldn't be allowed to wear them when training or trail riding as it is good to protect your horses legs and tendons! Mine are from Horze equestrian and I love them they also come in loads of cool colours and are fairly cheap:D

All I needed to know what to do was the martingale. The horses where I work have the martingale’s attached to the bridle already, I’m able to put on the martingale now! This really helped, i just need to undo the reins and take it off. It’s so much easier that to get it all tangled!
