Great lesson. At one point you said, " I looked around for her but it turns out. .." I'm not sure but should we say turned out instead of turns out? At another point you said,"she said she'd. ...and she'll. .." you used both she'd and she'll in the same sentence. I wish if you could explain this to me.

Hi, Anil. Good questions! You can use both 'turns out' and 'turned out'. We used 'turns out' here, because the event of her going down the elevator happened at the same time as the person going up. In the second example: 'She said she’d take the train into the centre, so she’ll call me as soon as she arrives,' the action of her saying she would take the train happened in the past, so we use 'she'd'. She promised to call me in the future, so the action of 'calling' is a future action, so we can use 'she'll'. Hope this is useful for you!

Hi Noura. A 'day off' means a day when you don't work or go to school. If it is your 'last' day off, that is the final day in a break that you have from work or school. Hope this helps you!
