How we know is always more important than what we know. How we see is always more important than what we see. For what we see is the direct result of how we see. You know nothing, if you know not how you know. Perception litterally creates our experience. Experience forms our thoughts. Thoughts form our acts. Acts form our habits. Habits build our character. Character creates our destiny. All you experience through your senses is the result of external circumstances over which you have no control. Everything "happens". Thoughts which are the reactive result of these circumstances are not in your control. Nothing that comes forth out of what happens is in your control because it happens. When your thoughts, acts, words, habits, character and destiny are the result of your external circumstances, the totallity of all this which you call "you" is just the result of everything that has happend. Then there is no "you" in control. The only thing which you control, is your perspective on what happens. Your perception. Because changing your perception changes your experience, your thoughts, acts, habbits, character and destiny. If you do not control and change your perception in a way which is different from the way you have always reacted, in the wat that you have always done it, you will remain a victem of circumstances. Not realizing that circumstances are the result of your perception. That you are the master and creator of your perception, experience, reality and of yourself

@@johnsheppard1673 pretty together of you John, is that your work, because there is some high level cognitive capacity behind such an articulate summary of the deal. I copied and pasted your comment into my place where i keep profound condensed knowledge. Salute :) question; if you can't control thoughts because they are the reactive part of a process that you don't control, and all you can control is 'perspective', is this not linguistic pedantics when surely perspective is comprised itself of thoughts, the thoughts which go into the patterns of our cognitive process? Perspective must be born of thoughts, and if we don't control the thoughts, it seems unreal to propose to control the perspective. I'll re-read it again, but if you can throw me a bone with this, please do :)

@@kparker2430 Awareness. Consciousness (perception/seeing). Is the difference noticed between things. Contrast. Everything you do is habit. Habit is that which you do because you have always done it. If you do what you do because you have always done it like that, "you" never realy "do". You, happen. People do what they do for two reasons. Firstly because most people do it. Secondly because they have always done it like that. How can you remember yourself if you have forgotten. That you dont remember that you have forgotten. Remember to remember, to find out that you have forgotten. Everything happens. There is nothing you can do about that. You can only control the way you perceive what happens, as it happens, as it happend, as it will happen. This is the first and most important thing you can realize. Today is what it is because yesterday was what is was. And so to will tomorrow be excatly the same as today. Everything happens. Everything you do is habbit. Everything you think, say, act, believe, perceive and experience. Is the result of habits. Your habits are the result of your thoughts. Thoughts are the result of external circumstances. Acts are the result of thoughts. Habits the result of acts. Character the result of habits. Destiny the result of character. A Destiny which is not under your control, for it is the result of external circumstances. If you are not in control, then who or what is? I just told you. You. Are. Not. What then is your life worth? Your only striving can be to become free. To become in control. You must see that you are not. You must change your perspective. Your perspective is the only thing you can begin tot control. By changing your perspective, you change your experience. By changing your experience you can change your thoughts. By changing your thoughts you can change your acts. By changing your acts you can change your habits. And by changing you habits, you can change your character (know thyself) Character forms Destiny. My way is the wayless way. To do without doing. Not by doing, doing more, or less, not by doing not. Everything happens. Everything i do is habbit. There is nothing i cannot not do. Flow. Achieve effortless. It all starts by realizing that everything happens. There is nothing you can do about that. You can only control the way you perceive what happens, as it happens, as it happend, as it will happen. This is the first and most important thing you can realize. I can tell you this. You can believe me, or not. But it will not matter what i say to you. Without having experienced for yourself you can have no understanding, no feeling, of what i have said. Describe colour to a blind man. Use parallels to describe them, hot colours, warm collours, but he will not “know” what colours are, unless he sees for himself. You can think of this what you will. But do not believe me because i say it is so. See and experience for yourself. That is the only way to know. Know. That whatever you repeat, becomes habit. Routine. Subconcious Programming. Whatever perception you repeatedly see is what you will come to believe. You think you only believe what you see. That dont need to merely “believe” something because you “know”. You do not know. You do not see. That you do not see the world as it realy is. You do not merely believe what you see. You see what you believe. Your thinking had led you to believe that you are rational. You are everything but. Because “you” are not, if “you” is the result external circumstances. You do not see that external circumstances are the result of your perception. You blame the world and everything and everyone in it for that which is the result of your perception. You blame external circumstances for your own failings, your own fears, biases, assumptions and judgements. You do not see the world, reality, as it realy IS. The whole world as you see and experience it, exists only in your perception. For when you change your perception, from moment to moment, your experience changes. But does that change the world as it is? It does not. I am only illustrating how your perception creates the world which you experience. That the world you experience is the result of your perception.

Another one of those bullshit quotes where idiots find so profound cause they lack critical thinking No by all means a easy life is better than a difficult one, there is no benefit nor virtue in living a harder life. If you’re gonna pray, pray for an easy life Feels very inspiration at the moment if you don’t think about it, probably because most people don’t have the easy life and can only power through a difficult life

@@saosaqii5807 i get it, proly arguing with someone on internet is useless and stupid but here I go. He ain't telling you to pray for an hard life, only strength to get over whatever comes your way. I'm gonna copy and paste this, think for yourself. Whatever it is I respect your opinion A man spent hours watching a butterfly struggling to emerge from its cocoon. It managed to make a small hole, but its body was too large to get through it. After a long struggle, it appeared to be exhausted and remained absolutely still. The man decided to help the butterfly and, with a pair of scissors, he cut open the cocoon, thus releasing the butterfly. However, the butterfly’s body was very small and wrinkled and its wings were all crumpled. The man continued to watch, hoping that, at any moment, the butterfly would open its wings and fly away. Nothing happened; in fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its brief life dragging around its shrunken body and shrivelled wings, incapable of flight. What the man - out of kindness and his eagerness to help - had failed to understand was that the tight cocoon and the efforts that the butterfly had to make in order to squeeze out of that tiny hole were Nature’s way of training the butterfly and of strengthening its wings. Sometimes, a little extra effort is precisely what prepares us for the next obstacle to be faced. Anyone who refuses to make that effort, or gets the wrong sort of help, is left unprepared to fight the next battle and never manages to fly off to their destiny.

@@kayaeki you see easy here can mean many things depending on what situation you’re thinking of, what you’re showing here is being “helped” by others or having yourself carried by others to the point where you’re useless, a temporary easy in effort but not easy in life. This is an obstacle in its self, your life didn’t become easier because now you’re suffering. That butterfly is now incapable of flight no matter how hard it tries. Your story does not depict a easy life because by definition and of context an easy life means no such obstacles, it doesn’t exist. Somebody could’ve been born perfect or relatively perfect or have been born much more privileged compare to the rest, they are going to have a much easier life with minimal effort while others will be forced to endure and work through many obstacles.

I’m 84, and at the age of 10 I took stock of my life and future. My family was poor, made worse by an industrial accident that crushed both of his legs. He was laid up for a couple of years and my mom went to work. They didn’t have aid programs in those days so it was up to us to survive. My sister and I raised the younger kids. I decided not to let those things determine the rest of my life. I tried to imagine what I would want of my life. At 10, I had very little to work with, but I had heard consultants (whatever they were) made good money, traveled a lot, and managed their own schedules. I decided I wanted to make at least $50k and base myself in NYC. Mostly, I decided I didn’t want to be poor anymore. I accomplished all of those goals, by understanding people. Most people are defenseless fools who don’t understand when they are being led by the nose and merely living out the plan that someone else has for them. They don’t even realize those they trust the most are actually their worst enemies. So the world has become a really scary place, without any leadership to guide a resistance movement. It’s too bad but I don’t see anyone to stand against those who control all the world’s wealth, and seem to be able to buy anyone and anything they want. I feel for those who will never get to know the world I’ve known.

@@JDog2656 To be honest, I don’t remember responding to this video. But I’ve gone back and read it, and would only add a philosophical comment to clarify what others could learn from my life’s experience. As I said in my first reply, I understood enough about life at 10 to make a plan which I have followed religiously throughout my life. I understood that there were many things that would limit life if I let them. I never succumbed to those temptations. I’ve had 2 friends in life, one for 78 years, the other for 40 years who understood the steadfastness of my life’s plan and never questioned it. I never asked for their support, or expected it, but I truly valued it. I have never understood how others can live their lives happily without a plan. They live as others tell them to. But, isn’t that a form of slavery if freedom is about being free enough to make the key decisions that direct their lives. I have always been free. I have believed in God since I was 6, but do not believe in the business of God, known as religion. As a boy of 6, I would walk in the rain and talk to God. Soon, it was as if he was walking at my side, and I felt as if we were having real conversations. One thing I learned was that there are many of “those” who tell you they are there to guide you. But in reality they are there to lead you in a direction in your life that will benefit them, while minimizing their risks. I was born and raised as a Midwesterner, and still hold my values high even after 85 years. Ii believe I have lived a life of honor and trust in God and those that matter to me. I don’t know if I’ve answered your question, I hope I have. I have a problem with all of the quotations thru the video. I don’ think any of them, regardless of the fame of the personage could have lived a life of freedom that allowed them to be in control of their lives. They just sound good. I never wanted to be rich or famous, or organizationally superior, I just wanted to find my own way and never be poor again. I’ve been broke several times, but there’s a real difference. I’ve never looked behind me to see if anyone is following. That’s up to them. As a matter of fact, at least 2 of my kids vote opposite to how I vote. That’s good! I taught them to think free, however it worked out.

Eternal life in heaven is a free gift from God. No human being deserves it due to his/her good works. We have all sinned and fall short in glory of God(eg.Jesus says if any man looks at woman with lust he has committed adulterly with her in his heart..No man is that pure😅). So how did God give us this free gift🤔? He sent his only begotten son to be betrayed, humiliated ,beaten and die as fine/payment for our sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Since he is a just God and has to punish sin. All you have to do is humbly repent of all your sins(read the 10 commandments) honestly turn away from them. Believe in/trust that Jesus did that for you. Confess with your mouth that he is your lord and saviour..You will be saved from hell🔥. The holyspirit(his omnipresent spirit) will in dwell within you and convert your cold heart of stone into that of flesh that can truly love God and be a slave of righteousness and not of sin. This might be the last time you read the true gospel of salvation..look around 🔥🔥 the end is nigh. Please don't reject God's gift. Your soul is on the line.Jesus loves you❤

The need for meaning is installed inside our DNA because the universe is indeed meaningful. The big bang theory proves that space and time had a beginning. Albert Einstein proved that time is a relative illusion. whatever that created the spacetime must be outside space and time. He must be timeless. Eternal, from infinity past to infinity future. It's seem like it's really hard for atheists to get glimpse of the concept of the eternity. God has no creator because their is no time in which he never existed. He is just IS. The principle of conversion of energy states Energy can neither be created or destroyed but can be transformed from one form to another. At the beginning stages of the big bang photons (light particles) were the first things that came out of the singularity. Enormous amount of Energy that excaped the singularity. I believe that the singularity was the interdimensional portal (proven only mathematically) ,God opened to release his omnipotent energy into the spacetime bubble thus expanding it. That was transformed into different forms of energy and matter that are guided by the fundamental laws of nature (also proven by Einstein famous equation E = mc2) forming the universe as we know it. And in the fact that there is something instead of nothing shows that there was a decision been made. Only personal beings make decisions. The physicists say current say the most fundamental unit of reality is information. "Everything you see is a bit of information " ~ Lee Smolin All this hints to Genesis 1:3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. Hebrew 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the WORD of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZrIaqCrqKx4p7M (a universe out of nothing)

@thoth81 C.S lewis said There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, "Thy will be done," and those to whom God says, in the end, "Thy will be done." All that are in Hell, choose it. Without that self-choice there could be no Hell..choose God. God loves you. He sent his only begotten son to be sacrificed to pay for your sins since he is a just God,Holy God and rose from the dead after 3 days. If you humbly pray repent and honestly turn away from your sins (read the 10 commandments) and put your trust in that Jesus christ. son of God , son of man did that for you as lord and saviour. You will be saved and be granted a gift of eternal life.. This might be the last time you read the gospel. Jesus is coming soon. Not as the sacrificed lamb of God🐑 but as King of kings🤴. The Judge of all mankind. Look around🔥🔥 the end is nigh. Jesus loves you❤

Autonomy- the need to control ones course in life. competence- the need to feel effective in ones environment. relatedness-the need to have close affectionate relationships with others. this will be my purpose. to find or build a community that values this

Once you realize self actualization in pursuit of a meaningful goal is the main source of happiness and suffering(at times), there is no further need for toxic relationships, drugs , etc., to numb ourselves from reality because one is at peace with it.

What meaningfulness of happiness? ...what is the meaningfulness of suffering?

Over the last few years I have never been happier Anny M. Your comment is spot on for me. I have quit many vices and greatly reduced the rest. Except for illegal drugs which I don't partake in. I have a dream and it's being manifested through self actualisation. As I'm taking my last breath, my character will be the satisfactory measurement for me. Love, money, status, etc, will be a derivative from this measurement.

@@pantsenfuego9986I love your question and it made me really think. To me happiness is something that brings pleasure to the mind and soul. Any guilt before or after participating in an activity it is not happiness even if that activity was pleasurable at the time. Suffering is an event which brings pain to the mind and/or body over a period of time with no conscious belief that this event will lead to a positive benefit to the mind and/or body in the future. During a run, a person can go in and out of suffering many times depending on their interchanging beliefs. To me the meaningfulness of happiness and suffering is nature's way or God's (depending on your belief), to push humans towards the same goal it has for plants and animals, full potential.

Meaningful goal is relative. You’re gonna have to make that one up to bring you happiness. But you might wanna answer why it should be meaningful at all.

@@pantsenfuego9986 I don’t own the definition, specially English not being my first language. But I meant happiness as in fulfillment. I believe one can only feel full filled when working towards something meaningful to oneself. Perhaps not a totally concrete goal, but an ideal rather. What is ideal to me might not be to you, but we both can enjoy life as it comes and make it better for us and others.

It’s always really cool and satisfying when you come up with an idea on your own, just to find out that other people before you have put much effort and thought and drawn the same conclusions. A few years ago I came up with a concept of stages of identity. There are three. The first stage is materials. You base your identity on what you have. (I own a cool car, that makes me cool) The second stage is actions. You define yourself by what you do such as hobbies professions, and tastes. ( I am a welder, I am a part of that community). The third and most ideal stage builds off of the second. This stage is skills/competency. Here your identity is based off of not merely what you do, but how you do it. How well and what specific and unique actions, rules and knowledge you utilize. (I am a good welder and know special techniques to meet my goals)

You can inherit the kingdom of God even if you are a sinner.. after all we are all sinners in God's standards of justice and holyness (he says that if a man looks at a woman with lust he has already committed adulterly with her in his heart NO MAN IS THAT PURE😅).....All you have to do is to honestly humbly pray repent turn away from sins (read the10 commandments) and trust that Jesus for his love❤❤ for you he left his throne in heaven and came to the world he was humbled humiliated betrayed beaten and killed for your sake to pay the fine of your sins and mine so that we won't spend our eternity in hell but with him in heaven...this might be the last time you read the gospel...Look around🔥🔥 be smart..the end is nigh🔥 ..He is coming back soooon not as the sacrificed lamb of God🐑..but as King of Kings🤴 the judge of the whole world..Your soul is on the line😭😭. Eternity is a long time.Eternal life in heaven is a free gift from God.
