Seriously though there’s a lack of content on KZbin like this that explains form and shows it with visuals, examples without too much technicality and jargon. Really well done!

Helpful advice I've not seen quite described yet and I've watched like every form video on KZbin. The sting is the only disc I've successfully forehand hyzer flipped

Kara you are awesome. Ive been noticing a lot lately in my longer throw my shots have been hyzering out alot earlier and have been throwing a good 50 feet shorter then normal, turns out my shoulder has been going up. You just fixed my problem! Thank you! YOu got a new subscriber 😊

Good advice on the follow through, going to try that as I sometimes get nose up even when I intentionally try to throw low and flat. Thanks for showing the "wrong" way to do things and comparing it against the "right" way rather than just showing good shots without comparison.

@@karaleediscgolf Update: Won my first doubles event. Still shot nose up more often than not, but it definitely worked when I exaggerated trying to do your follow through and hip movements. Hopefully this will get me to 300+ consistently as i've been told I have enough arm speed, it's just my nose angle holding me back. Going to have to try this in the field and have it be my normal way of throwing.

The forward cue seems really helpful. Been playing for years and I randomly switch back to awful form occasionally. Straight and flat moderate power shots have been killing me lately. I really appreciate this! Wish I had a coach I could work with in my area.

Thank you Kara! I’ve only been playing for a couple months now and appreciate the help. Can you do a tutorial on putting? Is straddling more consistent of a technique than others?
@karaleediscgolf2 жыл бұрын
You’re welcome! I find that a straddle putt is more safe than a regular style putt. I have a hard spin putt so utilizing the straddle putt helps me not go so far past the basket lol

I'm not sure about keeping the shoulders level. For example, on this flat 450 ft shot, Simon is bent over and his right should goes down then back up. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqiod4qJbMyArtU
@karaleediscgolf2 жыл бұрын
Yes there are certain types of shots that require different positioning of the shoulders (anhyzer and hyzer lines). My video was intended for just the straight shot down the center.

Flat compared to what? The ground or Parallel to the ground the correct direction is parallel to the ground towards the basket a straight line to the basket. Thumb pressure matters. (PDGA #5640)
