Fox Nation - Bass Trap Music / krofxes i thought so too but when i opened file explorer I noticed that in the top taskbar there is something calling ‘access media’ I clicked on it and then chose “connect to a media server” from the drop down menu. You’ll find your devices name there. Choose it and it will work.

Thank you so much. I figured out that you can save your photos and other files to the Chrome or Spotify folder in the On My iPhone part of the Files app. In iTunes, you go to File Sharing and select Chrome, then you can see all the files in there (no matter the type) and then you can save them onto your pc from there!

Guys, before you do ANY of this, go to your ipad or iPhone, go to “settings,” go to “photos” and under the section of “transfer to Mac or PC” select “keep originals.” Do this FIRST. Then consider all this other mess.

when I try to transfer any file under e.g. "This PC\Apple iPhone\Internal Storage\DCIM\101APPLE", it just won't be copied to my computer and sends an error "Error copying file or folder (red warning alert symbol) The device is unreachable" This is my first iPhone and I hate this problem of not being able to share files via the USB cable. Yes, that's what apple wants. They don't want you putting anything form one of their iCraps to a PC, because then you'll see how a proper OS is written to be easy for the user to use. I tried for 6 hours last night to get ONE VIDEO off her iphone to my PC. It never happened. And that phone almost ended up under my foot! When it dies (and the sooner the better) it's being replaced with an android. ANY android.

you open the files app on your iphone /ipad go to the location that you have stored your files and copy them or move them to the on my iphone /ipad section and choose an app for example vlc or the documents app then go to the file sharing location on your pc and tap on the app and you will see your files there.

It might have been the file sizes I transferred. I tried to move multiple folders at once, something that is normally trivial and has existed since Windows 95 yet seemed to have proved too complicated for a modern iPhone. I transferred the folders one at a time and it seemed to work.
