Thanks for your great tips! I have a budget travel channel too, but I give very different type of advices since I travel solo a for even cheaper. I'd love to rent a car and sleep in it like you do guys, looks so cosy! I actually don't apply tip #2 collecting miles, for the moment I just prefer research a lot and fly with the cheapest company/flight available, but maybe in the future I'll change idea, who knows. As for getting in contact with locals, you're right Instagram is very good for that, but the platform I prefer for this purpose is definitely Couchsurfing. And tip #11 buying local sim cards I also do it all the time - except in Europe, since we now don't have roaming costs anymore -.

Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! It’s easier to collect miles through credit cards etc. when we’re two people with more spendings. We haven’t tried couch surfing, as we tend to go remote places, haha. But like you say it’s really cosy to sleep in a car, especially for us photo nerds that like to wake up on a location to get the best light possible🤓

Tip 10 - Google maps offline is the best! I started doing this a few years ago, and it's a great way to save. Also, have you all had success with tip 9? Free night for some photos?

It sure is! Yeah, we have stayed a few places for free and we delivered photos, Instagram stories and a blog post in return. It’s easier if you have a big following, but the most important thing is to show that you’re capable of taking great photos etc. :) We’re going to Iceland in February and there we’ll be doing this a lot!

As an alternative to Google maps (some people don't want to share their data in regards of their privacy and so on, especially in Europe) a very good option I recommend is the OsmAndMaps app, which is very much used in Germany. I tried it and works very well.

Okay. If you choose the Sony A7R iii you need to get Sony FE lenses. My favorites are the Sony FE 16-35mm F4.0, Sony FE 55mm F1.8 and Sigma 24mm F1.4. Not sure about the prices, I always try to buy my equipment used, then the price drops :)
